I aint mad at the first 7 but EPMD, Geto Boys and Gang Starr should ranked higher.
No way diplomats should be that high.

Side note, reading this article gave me inspiration to make an ultimate hip hop playlist
for when I travel.
:ipod:

So SONARR and RADARR will pull TV Shows (SONARR) and movies (RADARR) as they released from newsgroups and torrent sites. You can even set them up to download them directly into your media server.

I use SONARR and I LOVE it. I can set the size and quality of the shows it pulls. I had it setup with RARBG, but now I have it with Pirates Bay and 1337

Yeah my brother is big on using SONARR for TV shows but like I said, you download 5 or more seasons and it uses a lot of space so I've stuck to movies. I use Newshosting and nzbplanet with Radarr. I'll have to checkout RARBG and Pirates Bay.

Oh ok thanks for the info , I only get a few tv shows a week , like right now foundation, silo,Mayans, hijack that’s about it
And movies I like to convert the audio to stereo
And i like to read the description of the movies and IMDb rating before downloading
Not for big movies like the new transformer , but unknown movies
I don’t think sonarr or radarr would work for me

Hope y’all are using Tautulli or something else to check who is streaming
I just caught an unknown person streaming , someone shared there password
Tautelli is nice, but I just use the web interface since I leave my browser open all day anyway. Next project is to get Sonarr up to automate getting these tv shows.

But that's the great thing about both, they not only download the movies, they download everything, Movie, Trailer, Posters, IMDB info, actor history, similar movies (not downloading the movies, but listing the similar movies).

My vpn is doing its work I guess , I downloaded via torrent 300 1080p movies the past few days and didn’t get a Comcast notice copyright infringement
I’m using “ private internet access”

How much storage is Bgol working with ? I have a 18tb drive and 8tb free space ,that should last me a few years
Yes I am backing up the movies to another 18tb drive

For torrents, you can also use Seedr.cc. It acts as a middle man, they do all the torrenting online instead of having a client on your pc so you'll never catch a copyright notice.

You just copy the torrent's magnet link, paste it to their site and then when it's done uploading to their server, you just download it or stream it from their site. And you can pick just the .mp4 file out of the folder to download instead of having to download the whole rar file.

Seedboxes are the future! Just makes it so much easier.

Have already downloaded 200 1080p x265 rarbg from the links posted above
I’m dumping 720p from my fav movies
Only keeping 720 for movies I don’t care that much and tv shows

My storage is 18tb so I have plenty of space , I’ll report back after I finish downloading and say how big my folder is and how many movies I grabbed
Had a slow day today I've been swapping out all my 4Ks for 1080s. Reclaimed 5TB so far. S

1080 from rarbg x265 ?
I’m basically done switching to that
Some of the early encodes had a problem , when playing them in vlc it would be blank or not play
Running them through a program fixes the issue
Play a few of the movies on vlc to test

Anybody still buy physical movies ?

I get all my movies from YIFY. Never had an issue with them and the file sizes are generally smaller. I'm still not done swapping out movies, and then I gotta work on tv shows. I estimate another 4-6TB when I'm done.

I don't use plex cause fuck plex. They have a huge privacy problem. Jellyfin is much better and does not have a list on their servers of every item in your collection. Also if you use newsgroups Sonarr/Radarr/Lidarr are much better. I also use a request software so my friends and family can do it all. its automated.

was looking at this list to see if i had all the movies on the list and

Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse

is number 14 all time , im sure the movie is good but all time top 20:hmm:
Solid writing and storytelling, combined with groundbreaking visuals... It may be getting a little buzz from having just come out, but it is a pretty good movie. It's set to be the Empire Strikes Back of its trilogy.

Is Plex worth it? Just heard Joe budden talk about it
Depends on what you want to do with your media collection. I discovered it just trying to find a way to view my media in different rooms in my own house without wires. Being able to share it with people was just a side benefit. To be honest, it can be quirky on end users if you are sharing. And then you have to commit to the work of running the server, adding content, and helping your users.

On the other hand, if you just want a way to organize and view stuff for yourself, it can do that too.

2 of these ,one as backup
And get 1080p x265 under 3gb from the now gone RARBG or the current psa encodes
And you’ll be set for years

Get the great movies in 1080p and the ok movies in 720p, my go to encodes are from psarips

I need to take some time and read through this entire thread. I want to get up and running with Plex. I currently have access to my homeboy in TX server. But it's time for me to get my own setup.

Is very simple
You need some external drives
Run plex media server app on your computer
The computer must stay on for it to work obviously
And you need the movies
I don’t recommend torrenting without a vpn

Unrelated to Plex but if your here , chances are you use a vpn
I was able to get YouTube premium for $3 a month using PIA VPN and selecting Vietnam as the country in the vpn
The family plan cost $6
Other countries Ukraine did not work for me
Just follow this guide

just what I thought , plex if you host for other people , jelly if you dont

I wouldnt recomment plex for anyone. All of the media you have is on plex servers. They keep track of everything. Who knows who they are telling that information to. I use jellyfin on a unraid server to host about 15 people never any issues. Plex used to be my jam but bad business practices and poor privacy is a no no for me.
