They are not getting out of it. Their master series this year will be a greatly improved miniLED. Means that they will probably not make any change to last years master series, the OLED A95L which came out late 2023 and won most contests as the best TV of the year. That TV and their other OLEDs will still be on sale.

People just got a little lazy over the last few years because streaming makes everything a lot easier.
That don't mean we forget the old skills. Keep talking shit Hollywood, and see if people don't get the old crews back together to help some screeners 'fall off the back of a truck' during the next award season.

Some people are saying they had a low user count, like under 10, and it still happened to them. Weird. So far mine hasn't been touched but I only have 7 users and they are never all streaming at the same time. We shall see.
I keep it in house, my kids and grandkids have their own in house server running. Sharing outside of your own house is a recipe for disaster.

For me I use YouTube not just on phone or tablet but on a couple of tvs , Rokus , Apple TV, smart app , plus family plan is $6 with this hack up to 6 people , not everybody know what A vpn is or how to use it
When you get old you just want things to just work , you do the vpn hack one time and you can delete the vpn and never think about it ,you got YouTube with no ads plus YouTube music which I use every day
Not so much old having to do anything with it, you just don't have time! I am old, but I REALLY don't have time to dyck around with constantly configuring shyt.
Yeah, I got no problems paying for YouTube Premium, especially since I got a family plan and they have no clue how to use a VPN.
Even with IPTV now, it's cool and a lot cheaper than cable/satellite but I'm thinking of switching to something like YouTube TV just because every now and then the shit doesn't work especially during crucial moments of a TV show.
