Yeah, me neither because that's crazy getting a receipt after a haircut. In all my years of getting a haircut, I never got a receipt from the barber. He must’ve got a cut from one of those commercial spots.
Yeah, I feel you on that. My barber charging $50 and if he goes over that, I'm done. I'm not paying no damn near a $100 for a haircut.Yesterdays price is not today's price in any market. I get a regular bald fade waves up top no "enhancements." My old barber started cutting outta his basement during COVID yet he started going up in price but wasn't paying booth rent which makes no sense to me. Once his price went over $60 I stopped going to him.
I pay $50 and if they go higher than that, then it's FUCK YOU while I go looking for another barber. These dudes REALLY think they are ESSENTIAL...LOL
FADE,LINEUP RAZOR...30.00 + TIP
only a fool would go much higher than that.
I said it and mean it
Half the time, I'm just getting a fade and lineup. I do the beard trim on my own

I kinda stopped at your first sentence...If you don't respect your cut you don't respect yourself.
The barbers still doing $30 cuts ain't poppin. They oldheads with no clients.
You tell the gas station you ain't paying more. You tell the electric company you ain't paying more. It's the same gas right? Times change and prices change When the prices went up from 10 dollars a lot of old heads stopped going and it showed. LOL
For me a fresh haircut is priceless. The difference in reception you get when having no cut vs a fresh cut is worth 200/month.
My barber charges 60 I pay 80 every cut. I budget 200/a month for haircuts and hair care.
I got locks and I pay 35 just for a lining and taper, plus my barber throw in a blunt or two when he can. lol
Niggas want to show off to a bunch of dudes who don't give ah fuck about you.200/month in haircuts is ridiculous talk...and I have a lil money. Stop trying to show out for BGOL.....none of us know each other offline really. There is zero need to front
Yup, I remembered those days, the barber I used to have did the same same thing ,he'll sell porn DVDs and other bootleg DVDS. Magazines, vending machine or whatever else to earn extra money while keeping the haircut price affordable. My former barber moved out of state He used to sell bootleg DVDs out the shop. Cats were buying em...some even had watermarks from the free burning software. lol..thanks to the basement, torrents and my other spots....I was able to push his former supplier out the way and supplied dude wit fresh clear movies every week. Before he moved, I hadn't paid for a cut in 10 years at least.
The barter system is best
The consumers made them feel that way with mad dudes was walking around with weird beards and walking around wolfing for months like they couldn't order clippers to groom themselves. There's a lot of occupations that exist cause of human laziness or wanting to learn certain skills. When consumers allow biz to dictate prices and power you get what we currently have in the barber game. I been cutting my hair since I was 15 , saving thousands of dollars each yr for basically 3 decades.. the game could easily be changed if people started cutting their own hair but humans will be humans and barber biz will still go onThese dudes REALLY think they are ESSENTIAL...LOL

The problem is greed, not everyone can cut their own hair nor it makes you a professional learning it on YouTube and a self-cut won't look better than a braber who has skills and is educated as a barber, goes to convention expo to learn the latest techniques and new clippers that's on the market. I understand barbers do a lot to improve their skill and have to pay their bills but the pandemic is an excuse for why they overcharge and also reason why they don't get tips because they charge too much. It's fucked up when they charge $30 to trim ya beard and $60 for a haircut which is robbing people. But if enough people complain the laws could change of what barbers can and can't charge their clients.im not here to make barbers rich and will not pay for those high ass prices. The consumers made them feel that way with mad dudes was walking around with weird beards and walking around wolfing for months like they couldn't order clippers to groom themselves.
