Damn this dude really fucked up. His physical age is 36 but his mental maturity age appears to be somewhere between 18 & 22. What a fucking jackass. If he wasn't in so much serious trouble this shit would be funny to me. What a fucking loser clown. He's no doubt one of those people you come across in life with an IQ equitable to cozy room temperature. I'm just watching to see if he can light skin his way out of this one. Oh and he's a half Jew. So maybe some of that Jew court juice will get used in his favor. You really gotta fuck up real bad to get time as a Jew.

Holy hell...

Did NOT see that coming.

I wonder what the ratings and salaries are for Empire

This could just be an excuse or maybe FOX thinks the reaction to the show from all sides just aint worth it.

Wow...

And interesting

The last few days his supporters have been trying to rally again so he would get no jail time and minimum backlash

Apparently that didn't work out.

What are all the politicians and LGBTQ folk gonna say NOW?

Also don't forget Disney will own Fox and the show soon...

Disney says its Fox takeover will take effect on March 20

https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/12/media/disney-fox-deal/index.html

New York (CNN Business)Disney's $71 billion deal to buy most of 21st Century Fox will take effect on Wednesday, March 20, the companies said Tuesday morning.

It will be an epochal event in the entertainment business — the merging of two movie studios and the end of Fox as we all knew it.
Staffers at the 20th Century Fox studio are bracing for layoffs and other big changes.
Disney (DIS) is picking up the studio, a controlling stake in Hulu, a suite of entertainment channels like FX and Nat Geo, and other assets.

And on Tuesday the companies detailed some of the final steps that have to happen before the deal closes. But there is still some uncertainty about the cutbacks that one executive called"inevitable."
Analysts expect that Disney will lay off at least 5,000 people — some on the Fox side, others on the Disney side — as a result of consolidation. The company has not commented on the specific plans, but investors have been told to expect "at least $2 billion in cost synergies by 2021 from operating efficiencies realized through the combination of businesses."

On the day the deal was announced, the White House said the merger would be good for workers.
"I know that the President spoke to Rupert Murdoch earlier today and congratulated him on the deal and thinks—to use one of the President's favorite words—'this could be a great thing for jobs' and [he] certainly looks forward to seeing a lot more of those created," spokesperson Sarah Sanders said then.

Cook County prosecutors drop all charges against 'Empire' actor Jussie Smollett

In a stunning reversal, Cook County prosecutors on Tuesday dropped all charges against "Empire" actor Jussie Smollett on disorderly conduct charges for allegedly staging a phony attack and claiming he was the victim of a hate crime.

“We believe this outcome is a just disposition and appropriate resolution to this case,” a prosecutor said in announcing the dismissal of all 16 counts.

There had been no clue that prosecutors planned the about-face move before the announcement. A publicist for Smollett’s attorney was the first to notify the news media Tuesday morning, issuing an alert that did not elaborate on the nature of the emergency.

Moments after Judge Steven Watkins allowed the dismissal, attorneys for Smollett issued a statement.

“Jussie and many others were hurt by these unfair and unwarranted actions,” the statement continued. “This entire situation is a reminder that there should never be an attempt to prove a case in the court of public opinion. That is wrong. It is a reminder that a victim, in this case Jussie, deserves dignity and respect. Dismissal of charges against the victim in this case was the only just result.

“Jussie is relieved to have this situation behind him and is very much looking forward to getting back to focusing on his family, friends and career."

The 36-year-old actor, who was free on $100,000 bond, has previously denied lying to police or faking the attack.

The actor, who is African-American and openly gay, has said he was walking from a Subway sandwich shop to his apartment in the 300 block of East North Water Street about 2 a.m. Jan. 29 when two men walked up, yelled racial and homophobic slurs, hit him and wrapped a noose around his neck.

Smollett said they also yelled, "This is MAGA country," in a reference to President Donald Trump's campaign slogan of "Make America Great Again."

Police initially treated the incident as a hate crime, but their focus turned to Smollett after two brothers who were alleged to have been his attackers told police that Smollett had paid them $3,500 to stage the attack, with a promise of an additional $500 later.

Police pieced together much of their evidence by reviewing footage from about 55 police and private surveillance cameras showing the brothers' movements before and after the attack.

The shift in the investigation came amid intense press coverage and often bitter public debate and stinging skepticism on social media.

Smollett addressed those doubts in a national TV interview and in a strongly worded statement after the brothers were released from custody after questioning by police.

A week before the alleged attack, Smollett told police he received a threatening letter at work. Prosecutors said Smollett staged the attack because he was unhappy with the studio's response to the threatening letter. Chicago police took it a step further, accusing Smollett of faking the letter as well.

Federal authorities are conducting a separate investigation into that letter.

I knew another plot twist was coming. This is amazing. On face value alone, it suggests whatever cover up or crime Jussie committed was not as egregious as the one committed by CPD that would be exposed had this gone to trial.

Like I stated earlier, that Commish was talking waaay too much and those leaks and public announcements made by the prosecutors office were waaay abnormal and suspicious.

Good for Jussie. And fuck Chicago police department.

Chicago PD is an embarrassment for a big city. Less than 20% homicide clearance rate:smh:. Chicago PD is inept, corrupt, lazy, and racist. They don't do detective work in black in latino neighborhoods like they do downtown and on the northside. If you live on the west and south sides and you are a victim of burglary they won't even dust for fingerprints 9 times out of 10 because it means extra paper work:hmm:. Then not to mention over the billion dollars(when you count in the financing) tax payers have to eat up when their race soldiers violate people. It is easier for them to be corrupt and protect each other and use tax payer dollars than is for them to be real professionals with honor. Then they want to bitch and moan about consent decrees and freedom of information act.

So cats keeping their mouths shut up there? Pigs don't put in no fucking work to close street cases. Streets know who did it and pigs try to tap into that info and get people to talk in the interrogation chamber.

Gene, there have been cases where family members of victim did their own detective work and turned over their evidence to the authorities to aid them in their investigations and still nothing happens. People actually do talk to each other and they themselves know who the perp is but Chicago PD does not care about solving crimes in the black community. There is an agenda to empty blacks out of Chicago. This in turns causes cyclical violence because those who know handle(avenge) on their own.
