The IDEA can be simple but it's all about execution
Telling someone yeah a movie about a young girl going through puberty and each emotion is an emotion SOUNDS like it writes itself. It doesn't.
Same for a black vampire who can survive sunlight and kills other vampires.
Now tell a 3 act story with dialog set pieces protagonist antagonist etc etc
Now go write about 105 pages in the proper format.
And be prepared to rewrite that bad boy a few times
All that being said? It's a labor of love and pain. And for some it just flows for others it's like performing major surgery on yourself with no anesthesia.
