Definitely will catch it in the trap.
It was.....not horrible. It was a good movie and I didn't feel like I was sitting here waiting for it to end. Good family movie. DC needs to keep this Actor and character around. He's definitely some one that could give more life to their movies. I give it an 8 out of 10. There's 2 end credit scenes.
Agreed on the 8 out of 10 rating. Definitely an enjoyable movie with good rewatch value. You can get by without seeing the 2nd end credit scene too. Had me upset I was fighting with my bladder just to wait for that forgettable scene. It was.....not horrible. It was a good movie and I didn't feel like I was sitting here waiting for it to end. Was long gone when the credits barely started rolling..i presume it's worse than the Shazam 2 one?You can get by without seeing the 2nd end credit scene too.
He was the best part
Brought nothing new to the tableI'm not surprised at all
Was it REALLY that bad?
How many were in the theatre?
Brought nothing new to the table
Felt like a retread but this time in Spanish
Cliche shit
Less than 20 people in the theater and a group of about 5 left 3/4ths of the way through

Protect Nana, 'Blue Beetle's surprise standout, at all costs
Meet Nana, the surprise standout of 'Blue Beetle,' played by Oscar nominee Adriana Barraza.ew.com
Too corny for me
Nigga.. how many ways he gotta tell you its trash?I respect it.
Ok.
For a family style superhero movie.
What is your review then?
When I saw that in the trailer I immediately thought of Shang Chi. This movie was a mix between a bunch of super hero movies. Black Panther, Iron Man and Iron Man 2, Shang Chi and Spiderman. I think some of the writing could have been better. There was one scene that really annoyed me and made say "who the fuck would do that? ". but I did enjoy seeing the character on screen and the transformation. The side kick villain angle was cool too. A few funny lines too, but some feel flat. I'd watch it again at home.Down to the standard city bus destruction
*sidebar gawd damn every freaking movie has to do that now? I mean EVERY SINGLE ONE? Go back and see if I'm lying. But I digress.
It was absolutely worthless. Think of the Spiderman post credit with Captain America in a video talking about you bring in detention. Was long gone when the credits barely started rolling..i presume it's worse than the Shazam 2 one?![]()
Yeah my theater was pretty empty too and I thought more would show up for the later showing, but nah. There was nobody in the lobby at all. Maybe tonight will be better.Unless word of mouth really comes through in the clutch, this movies is gonna bomb. There was maybe 20 ppl in the 6pm show last night. I've not seen a lot of promotion for it compared to other comic book movies and a lot of ppl are skeptical of any DC movies cuz of all the ass juice quality movies that have been released prior.
Pretty sure it's not GunnIf it weren't for Flash and all the previous DC fuck ups, I'd be looking forward to seeing this film.
Knowing DC is a dead brand though, I just don't have any excitement over this.
I'll see it in a few weeks when it comes home.
Question though, is Blue Beetle the beginning of Gunn's DCU or is this still tied to the previous DCEU? It's confusing to me since Aquaman is releasing later this year too.
Filmed before they even hired himPretty sure it's not Gunn
I thought it was to jump start Gunn's DCU but I don't know anymore. No surprise cameos either. Just a mention of Superman. I hope this is for the DCU cuz the costumes were very comic accurate. If it weren't for Flash and all the previous DC fuck ups, I'd be looking forward to seeing this film.

Shazam 2Jimmy Gunn been tap dancing about WTF Blue Beetle future is..
Which did not help at all.
Which is why this potential L goes on his record in permanent ink
Because even though it was BEFORE he got there?
Now he got his fingerprints on it because of the bad marketing and promotion, the confusing comments, involvement in the final edit etc.
I kinda put Shazam on him too just cause he allowed his wife and his creation in the bonus scene.
And I LIKE Gunn.
Telemundo Iron ManI respect it.
