I'm not talking about BYD. The company is Xiaomi. Last i checked, Tesla wants globally sells;not just US. That means competitors globally. I'm aware the Chinese companies are not sold in the US and like Tesla they are subsidized. That's the point. Tesla is still dominant here due to limited competition.as the years go on, more credible cars will rise. You must be really threatened by Rivian as you are ignoring the higher point of Tesla losing customers to competitors due to an idiot flying to close to the sun. Let's stick with your infatuation with Rivian. If similar to Tesla their initial vehicles price out a large portion of the population, what happens when the vehicles are 40 to 60k range? Just like Tesla with the 3, sells will increase for Rivian. Personally the R2s aren't the best looking but hey neither is the Y.
Instead of making a normal truck, this idiot decided to create one of the ugliest vehicles in history. Over time, they'll fade away from being discussed just like the solar roofs. Sales weren't great for q4 right? In general, Tesla sells were down. It could be macro factors but it's also their idiot CEO doing a Nazi salute. Followed by the Doge outrage. Let's not forget using his kid as a human shield. The real advantage Tesla had was the Supercharger network and they gave that up. If it was for more income, maybe not the worse move. Except the only reason some people stayed with Tesla was the network. Where is wouldn't have bought a Rivian before now i would because of the SC network.
I've had FDS for years. Beyond the improvement to navigate better on streets and highways it hasn't improved where it really matters. The only time I'd use it is in very low traffic. We aren't even going to get into bad weather or going under an overhead for 2 seconds. Right now it's nothing more than an advance cruise control. If it can't perform in different environments and more importantly adapt better to human drivers, it's not worth it to me. It still takes multiple attempts just to self park ans I still have to correct it.
The solar roof was Elon's pride and joy that failed to meet expectations. The inverters are questionable. Their constant reports of issues with the systems and worse poor customer service to address said issues. In Tesla's defense, that is an industry issue from what i can see. Speaking of failures, what’s up with the underground tunnel for cars? When the Tesla bot fails, what will be your excuse? Yes, the batteries are performing, but im speaking to panels.fron their own reports demand is declining.
Bottom line is It doesn't matter what products you make or their quality if no one wants to use them. The board is said to be selling shares at a high rate. Elon is allegedly begging employees not to sell shares.im not talking about the feelings of fanboy shareholders like yourself. I'm speaking on the change from major share holders. Retail shareholders like us are always last to get off the boat and their is a clear shift. What's more important to you. Getting rid of Elon and move forward or allow him to keep damaging the company in the public eye. Which is more important to you? Personally, I'd choose Tesla over Elon.
