No way Disney wouldn't have cross promoted these 2 properties....

This was one of the things hit on in after the episode. They said that was basically the end of the Dothraki “as we know them” and that was what prompted Dany to hop on her dragon.

Until that point the plan was the wait til the battle was fully engaged and the night king showed himself then get him two dragons to one but Dany watching her folks get slaughtered fucked that up.

Oh most definitely. Don't get me wrong, Arya in Bravos got pretty tedious, but as soon as she killed the waif after making the room dark, it should have been pretty obvious to everyone that all that tedium was very important to her character and her character's future. If it hadn't been for all that time with her getting the shit kicked out of her, then the current super warrior Arya would be less believable.

But killing the Night King was the Ultimate Payoff of her whole story arc. :yes:

They never saw that Coming.... when they we’re talking shit 3 years ago about the season 5 being wack. :rolleyes:

She could NEVER have pulled that off without all the shit she learned in Seasons 5 and 6. :yes:

The naysayers were like: “The writers don’t know what the fuck they are doing without GRRM. This is ass. Season 5 sucks. Arya should never have survived a stab in the gut, like that In season 6.”


And Dan & Dave were like: HOLD MY MUHFUKING BEER :hmm: ALL YOU SUMMABICHES. :hmm:

The Night King caught Arya in the air with one hand around her neck and the other around her left hand holding her Valyrian dagger, Cat's Paw to effectively block her attempted head strike sneak attack right after disarming /killing Theon with his own weapon. The Night King displayed top notch defense in hand to hand combat.

Arya simply out witted her advisary with her assassination skills to change the strike target in a split second for the quick kill. The House of Black and White prepped her well.
