Changed out the optic on my 300blk to an Eotech XPS2-0. I like it, the reticle is bright, and it has auto-off to save battery.

I figured out the problem I was having with subs not locking back on the last round too, I narrowed it down to the gas block. I took the Superlative Arms adjustable off and installed a Yankee Hill Machine non-adjustable and she instantly started locking back with 100% success rate.
I was having feeding issues with my superlative adjustable gas block for months and finally a gunsmith told me to drill the barrel hole a size bigger and it worked[/QUOTE]

Thompson Center Arms is done... Smith & Wesson is to blame.

That's what all public companies do. They operate to maximize profits and that's really their only reason to exist. Has he been living under a rock, or just butt hurt that they came for his favorite hobby.

He's just informing people as to what's going on.

Years ago, Remington bought Marlin, and Marlin suffered big time. Now if you were a Marlin fan and/or you needed parts etc for your marlin rifle, those parts were not the same quality that you'd expect to receive for your purchase.

So, he's just letting people know. If you currently own a Thompson, you may have to go easy on them because there may be no quality parts available soon.

I whole heartedly understand what your saying. I was just making a point that it happens all the time and we, myself included, get in our feelings when the corporate, capitalist, profiteers come for something we like. When they squeeze as much as they can out of it, sometimes they kill it.

I agree with you.

It just bothers me sometimes, because the profiteers will take a great brand and destroy it for short term profits. Then the people who held that brand dear by buying its products will suffer in the long run.

Honestly it bothers me a lot. I was just a little more critical of that vloger because the people he relates to best. The NRA and the larger gun lobby support the political party that facilitates and champions this type of corporate raider behavior. The GOP shits all day on unions, and financial regulation that would abate this but they don't care until it comes for them and what they hold dear.

Again, I agree with you 100%.

My wife asked me one time, "Have you ever thought about the NRA?" I said, "To Hell with the NRA. They don't support anything a Black person does or needs. I'll be damn if I give them a dime."

The NRA was overtaken by the gun manufacturers and switched from promoting responsible gun ownership and marksmanship to advocating for extreme, no limit gun rights. The GOP bought into the plan and started collecting massive donations from them. The rest is history.

Man do you know how hard it was to get Remington parts during their little episode? I had to get fuckin springs from Canada. I had to get lucky on ebay and gunbroker. For bullshit like springs and c-clips. It bothers me too when good brands go under.

My kinfolk in TX finally got his can in after 8 months. He was looking for something for his KelTec P50 so I suggested the Deadair Mask HD. He says he loves it, says the whole rig shoots real flat and quiet. I can't wait to try it out.
