Is Disney on the list of "You lose less if you pay us' folks they keep talking about? When fans like myself keep complaining about shit writing in projects, we were told we were toxic, crazy, and didn't understand shit. Well, some more receipts that were easy to call. Along with bad streaming numbers for more shows than we can count, what the fuck are writers going on about?

How can SOME studios look at this shit and justify giving the chefs more money to produce Ls while also saying a certain number of these chefs MUST be in the room.

Just remember when folks talking about getting paid the industry is down and in-house streaming isn't viable for most studios. Remember, 2 sides to the story. :smh:

They NEED to get this DONE now.

Everybody already pulled out they big guns

The Studios suspended deals with the mega creatives.

They took shows OFF streaming and but them on network

they about to flood the airwaves with reality sh*t AGAIN

BUT the studios are LOSING close to half a billion each (after hyping that bullsh*t windfall we ALL knew was fake news at the beginning of the strike)

The writers lost a TON of income and hurting

But again the studios mishandling of this whole thing is INSIPING more unions to spring up where there were NEVER before.

and now the talent is TERRIFIED to cross that picket line.

Just MAKE the damn deal.

the money they LOST is NOTHING to what they could have negotiated MONTHS ago.

The only shows that definitely will come back are the late night talk ones and possibly SNL..

Are Apple and Amazon even allowed in talks today? They the Voltron of 'no fucks to give' about this shit. Only thing stopping them from buying everyone else in the room is the government. They like gods talking to mortals about life.

If Legacy and those starving ass writers have their say, deal will get done. Writers definitely need to take a deal. Studios ain't about to be pressed if this fails today since earnings won't change that much to report end of the year. Writers have to know that now is the time.

Since they are talking right now, the networks in the studios are beginning to feel the pinch.

Gonna probably see more of the repeat airings too.

Like CBS doing the network debut of season 1 of Yellowstone this past weekend to the tune of 6+ million viewers some 5+ years after it originally aired on Paramount.

And the longer running times for Survivor and Amazing Race starting soon.
..not to mention Fox becoming Gordon Ramsay's new residence
