I’m going to say this the writers didn’t get everything they wanted, but the corporations had to give up some things.I wonder what both sides conceded? Can't wait to see the details.

Yeah, I'd be shocked if the studios agreed on writer room minimums. But hopefully they caved on the AI thing.I’m going to say this the writers didn’t get everything they wanted, but the corporations had to give up some things.
That was one of the main points, but the AI thing is not completely dead it’s going to come back in the near futureYeah, I'd be shocked if the studios agreed on writer room minimums. But hopefully they caved on the AI thing.

That SAG deal might take a bit longer if the AI subject is brought up..That was one of the main points, but the AI thing is not completely dead it’s going to come back in the near future
Those deep fakes are SCARY. Can't imagine studios doing movies in the future with a deep fake Sean Connery and his estate getting zero dollars. SAG better not budge an inch on that shit. That SAG deal might take a bit longer if the AI subject is brought up..
The thing is, once the studios are ready to switch over to AI, they won't need the writers or the WGA anymore. That was one of the main points, but the AI thing is not completely dead it’s going to come back in the near future
I think they'll just start creating their own original digital actors. Then they will own all the rights. Those deep fakes are SCARY. Can't imagine studios doing movies in the future with a deep fake Sean Connery and his estate getting zero dollars. SAG better not budge an inch on that shit.

Yo, that's what I been screaming. Gatekeepers about to get smashed and ran through. Nothing but tropes and lazy shit. And nowadays, writers ain't even subtle about shit like they used to be.yall want these lazy writers to get paid?

thats a good one
but i bet no everybody has the same contract
so even if dress wins a lot might lose
Man. That shit can be a nightmare if the businessmen in the room want it to be. We know that it's all about ad-based revenue and handing out subscriptions(as I've shown). From wall street to the writers, these studios had everyone fooled with the streaming shit. The streaming numbers vary according to who the studios talk to. Writers, advertisers, and wall street get different bullshit with different narratives. They getting STREAMING NUMBERS!!!

Remember you said you like to verify the info instead of letting others do the heavy lifting? I bet most writers feel the opposite. They think this streaming shit going to work like the old days.
i hear but i think they just dont want to waste timeI'm sure but the overall point is that continued lack of unity and support after DECADES of complaining about the industry
And we STILL can't join together to battle a common enemy
Says everything that needs to be said about our present and future

I thought this, because we start and never finish a bunch of shows and movies. Do they get paid by the minute streamed, or something else. Sometimes I just want to go back and watch a particular scene. If I have it bookmarked or on my dvr do they get paid every time I watch Nemo with my granddaughter?... is going to be hella technical for them

I'm still "rewatching" her scene in the church with Natasha Lyonne to this day... The woman deserves her residuals!
