Yep, but she is a phenomenal actress.
I haven't seen her in anything, but I'll keep watching.
The current actress seems to be limited in her facial expressions and mannerisms. I don't know if it's due to her personal limitations or directional limitations. It's hard to tell for an actress or an actor until you see them in other projects

Most of the minor characters will be replaced after episode six. But I definitely want to see more black people in prominent roles on this show.
i am surprised some people are bored with the show.
i think that the first 3 episodes have been pretty good. the first episode started slow but that is to be expected with any show because they have to introduce characters and set up plot lines.
i also appreciate them not spending time on daemon vs crab feeder fight. it was only going to be routine anyway. the outcome was obvious and the show runners chose not to waste time on it.
if people are still bored 3 eps in you likely need to move on. i am glued to the set. it is a great show with good writing, spectacular visuals and awesome sound.

Them not showing the crab feeder getting killed after they hyped him up was some lazy writing.
it really didn't bother me. after watching too many cw shows, which i don' t watch anymore, i am tired of the fight dances. just show me what happened and get on with the plot development.

Why are you so emotional? I say I think they could've added more to his character and you accuse me of relating to men with VD? And I'm not the only one who feels this way. The shit was a let down based on how they initially set the character up.
This the point some of us trying to get across. We mention that his death feels a bit anticlimactic. And they lose their damn minds and act as if we suggesting he should be the damn Night King of the show. I agree that they may just cut out fight scene for whatever reason. It didn't ruin the episode or show. Just left me with a ok thats it? Feeling

I like what they are doing with Daemon. I kinda get Homelander vibes from The Boys with him. Started out as an easy character to dislike, because he was setup to be the "bad guy"...but now you kinda sympathize with him in a way. Definitely a complex character. Some really good writing going on.

Thread on page 15 off 3 episodes, at the very least it’s entertaining enough to warrant an extended discussion. It’s worth a watch if you’re a fan of the series overall.

I loved how they handled the crabfedder storyline.
Even in the books he was never really supposed to be an important character. He was just the stepping stone for Deamon to show the realm that he really is that dude. To that point, I dug the hell out of them not showing the fight. Seeing Deamon go in the cave bloody and battered and then emerge minutes later covered in blood and dragging a torso was all you need. He didn't even bother pulling the arrow out of his shoulder 
If people thought Deamon was smelling himself before, just wait until he roll back into King's Landing as a war victor. His ego is going to be visible from space in the next episode.

The show is great! My biggest concern are people who 'hated' the last season of GoT so much that they'll either never giving this show a chance or write bad reviews without even bothering to watch.
If it helps, a lot of the dialogue is lifted directly from the books, so like feels more like first few seasons of GoT when George RR Martin was still heavily involved in the scripts. And the story is much more contained so they're not spending time jumping all over the world to a million different sub-plots that may or may not be successfully wrapped up. Most of this story takes place in King's Landing and all the sub-plots are moving in the same direction.
