colrys brother was always ill timed with telling the truth. and didnt know how to play the game. hot tempered.corlys was able to get dameon fight with him against crab feeder, stand on his square to a healthy king while also aknowledging his respect for dameon, all while playing his hand.if corlys was his brother, he would of had his people ready while waiting for the king to die and reassured the hand and queen his allegiance and navy as long they back his claim to driftmark.

The actress who plays Alicent is the one that said that Alicent is in love with Crison Cole and Cole fucking the princess is the reason she turns against her. So the chick we're watching on screen played the part with that as her motivation. Your argument is with the woman you watched play it out, not me, but it's kinda hard to argue with her own words.
Also, Let's compare what Alicent has done to what Rhaeynra has done. Ok, Rhaeynra fucked around and lied about it. She made a deal with her husband that they'd try to play the part (and they acutally did fuck, even though he wants no part of pussy) but they also both seek love/sex elsewhere because it was just not there between them (romantic love or sexual attraction). Alicent, didn't give up the pussy to the king to lift his spirits. She initially balks at that, but when she finds out that Rhaeynra lied, she changes her tune. Now let's go that Rhaeynra lied part... Alicent said she heard that Damon fucked her and Rhaeynra denied it and that was not a lie... he appeared to feel her up and strip her, but he didn't fuck her. He left her with blue lips and she went and jumped on Cole's dick. Alicent found out from Criston Cole and that's what made her change that toon. She never said did you fuck anybody, she questioned her about fucking her uncle and she got a truthful denial (yeah, she left out them having physical contact, but she was truthful about him not fucking her), then found out her friend fucked her crush and oh no, forget what I said to my dad before, you're not fit to be queen! Hypocrisy and Lying? Rhaeynra left out getting fucked.... Alicent left out telling her best friend that she was trying to fuck her dad. Sure she didn't lie, but she was never asked. She did that shit on the DL.
Unless Finch put himself in line to become the king of a country by fucking Stiflers mom, the comparison (I know it was intended as a funny) doesn't work. Oh, and also, Finch didn't like Stifler... they weren't friends as you said they were. Remember the scene before they made up the contest... Finch explicity says he doesn't like Stifler.

She didn't explicitly mean for that to happen just as Cersei didn't mean for Ned Stark to be beheaded, but she was the Catalyst, and she later warmed up to Larys knowing full well what he did and even said she'd be back for more help. Rhaeynra so far if I remember correctly got innocent black guy on the stairs killed so they had a body for the fire, which is bad too, but that's two bodies in Alicent's column to one in Rhaynera's (assuming that only the father and son Strongs died in that fire). ...and let's remember, Alicent isn't just anti-Rhaynera's sons sitting on the throne, she's also anti-Rhaeynra sitting on the throne, so it's not just about the bastards, it's about her ex-friend who is true-born.

Regardless of what she thinks about his wishes, he's the king, and she's keeping him incapacitated so she can do what SHE wants. Cersei had the king murdered, and Alicent only puts her king to sleep, but they both took a king out of action to get what they wanted. How many kings did Rhaeynra do that to?

But Alicent has remained faithful to ONE MAN... and gave him 2 heirs... and a babygirl. Without ever cheating on him. Not once, so far.
