Disagree.
Alicent never "took it the wrong way".
As the audience, we have the luxury of knowing about that EARLIER conversation.
However, Alicent wasn't aware of the first part of this speech that he gave Rhaenyra, in private.
So Alicent is "taking him at his word" (in the present)... as he discusses "Aegon".
She thinks Viserys is talking about THEIR OWN SON... while he is on his deathbed.
Not discussing some long-since-dead... "historic figure".... who coincidentally shares the same name Viserys gave his eldest son.
Literally, just a few minutes ago... Viserys wanted his whole family to just 'get along'...
He wasn't giving Targaryen "history lessons" at the dinner table.
So aside from Rhaenyra herself... NOBODY ELSE would know that Viserys was (suddenly) continuing a private conversation that he LITERALLY had...
MORE THAN A WHOLE DECADE AGO... with his daughter.
Hell, even his brother Daemond doesn't know shit about "Aegon's Dream", or about that convo with Rhaenyra, more than 15+ years ago.
So yeah, EVERYONE in the Red Keep would have "took it the (SAME) wrong way"... just like Alicent did.
