Vaemond was a loudmouth and a dumbass. He would have been terrible sitting on the Driftwood throne.
He couldn't have been worst than his brother. Corlys should have checked his son after the first bastard was born. This whole thing could have been avoided if if Leanor creampied the bitch just once. Other houses would have made sure he fucked the bitch on the wedding night in front of witnesses.

This is one weird fucked up family. Dude cheated on his wife/sister and was chastised by his mother/mother-in-law. I'm not going to even go into the other fucked up family dynamics.

Like this is some real country hillbilly shit. Is it any wonder by the time we get to Ned Stark and Robert Baratheon Westeros was like its time to get rid of these muthafuckas.

Nah she took it the wrong way!

This is what the king was talking about. I believe rhanerya asked about it again earlier in episode 8

Disagree.

Alicent never "took it the wrong way". :smh:

As the audience, we have the luxury of knowing about that EARLIER conversation.
However, Alicent wasn't aware of the first part of this speech that he gave Rhaenyra, in private.

So Alicent is "taking him at his word" (in the present)... as he discusses "Aegon".

She thinks Viserys is talking about THEIR OWN SON... while he is on his deathbed.
Not discussing some long-since-dead... "historic figure".... who coincidentally shares the same name Viserys gave his eldest son.

Literally, just a few minutes ago... Viserys wanted his whole family to just 'get along'...
He wasn't giving Targaryen "history lessons" at the dinner table. :smh:

So aside from Rhaenyra herself... NOBODY ELSE would know that Viserys was (suddenly) continuing a private conversation that he LITERALLY had... MORE THAN A WHOLE DECADE AGO... with his daughter.

Hell, even his brother Daemond doesn't know shit about "Aegon's Dream", or about that convo with Rhaenyra, more than 15+ years ago. :dunno:
So yeah, EVERYONE in the Red Keep would have "took it the (SAME) way"... just like Alicent did.

That bitch took it how she took it. If anyone thinks it was going to be peace amongst them even if nothing had been said by Viserys just needs to go back to when Aemond called those boys "Strong" and then his brother Aegon tried to merge the table with that dudes face.

I was making a point that the whole story about "Aegon's Dream"... is NOT common knowledge. :smh:
Only 2 people on this tv show even knew about it.

So EVERYONE ELSE in King's Landing would have taken King Viserys' last words... about "Aegon"... and thought he was talking about his own son. (Regardless if Brother Patch Eye dissed his own nephews, or not.)

Folks act like Alicent would have been THE ONE & ONLY person to interpret the King's dying words the way she did. :hmm:
That's absurd.

Yeah.
Fantasy Genre White Boys are gonna love that.
Especially the ones who were whining about Black/Diverse Casting on this show.

In the end, their fears were unfounded. Yes they had to see Black characters, but the characters weren’t powerful or admirable. Kind of like when they were mad about a Black Jedi until they saw dude was cowardly and unheroic.

He actually did but she just never got pregnant the few times it happened

How? He cut off the man's head form behind. That is so dishonorable. I am not giving him no props for that.
All he is doing lately is snickering. They are not playing his motivation properly. The character really is better than what we are seeing.

I read somewhere that the books were the accounts of the Maesters and the tv show is without the embellishment of the Master records. Regardless, after making that accusation, including calling his daughter a whore with no proof, all bets were off.

Valerian steel is NO fuckin joke. Slices like a hot knife through butter after Vaemond fucked around and found out instead of reading the room.
