JOKER (2019) Discussion Thread Starring Joaquin Phoenix (Update 9/12/19) Leaked Footage.. GOOD GAWD

To be Fair... I'm taking Joaquin out this ranking... I need to see him in action first. I also haven't watched Gotham.. So I haven't seen cameron monaghan's version of the Clown Prince, but I've seen enough clips to weigh in on this..

  1. Mark Hamil

  2. Heath Ledger

  3. jack nicholson

  4. Cesar Romero

  5. cameron monaghan

  6. Jerrod Leto

I've always liked Joker more when he has Harley Quinn around
Shit based on the movie adaptions.......I don't ever want to see them again. Harley wasn't bad but damn they played Joker. They had Joker sprung and shit doing stupid shit. I didn't mind Suicide Squad like most but Joker and the villain really try its best to destroy that movie.

Cuz...

Cesar to me tops Jack.

That man really crafted what me know in live action

Voice laugh movement colors mannerisms

He was the clown prince

He brought the comics LITERALLY to life.

Cuz...

That young man on gotham?

Deserved an Emmy award

Period

You would be in awe

So this looks like... this movie takes alot from the classic THE KING OF COMEDY

Robert De Niro gives a mesmerizing performance in Martin ScorseseÕs timeless, darkly funny satire as Rupert Pupkin, a deranged comedian who will go to any length to gain the spotlight. Teaming with an equally imbalanced woman (Sandra Bernhard), Pupkin kidnaps his idol,

In fact... it might take too much from The King of Comedy.

i've never seen this. i'll check it out.

Honestly,
I never liked any of Todd Phillips' films.
I could barely sit through most of them.
Since many of them are WHITE Millenial Comedies.

But I think "JOKER" is going to shock the HELL out of everybody.
So I'm definitely seeing it opening week.

^^^

this is my BIG fear

especially since Scorsese was ORIGINALLY supposed to doi this film.

But maybe just maybe he got permission from Scorsese to somehow tie all that together?

Cause there is a WHOLE LOT of Taxi Driver in there too!
