a day is not a long time -
there is a huge difference between conquering and governing...

Kim Jung Un is not able to govern NKorea by himself - he knows there are supporters that backed him, that he rewards- but will flip and kill him if he shows weakness or fucks up
There are factions in his government under Chinas influence and other faction(s) under Putin's influence
Most of the house cleaning you have head of (executions and assassinations) were mostly keys of power under chinese influence or acceptable political replacements for him (half brother, uncle etc)
I get what ur saying but bringing that guy to vital parts of the facility runs counter to the point of why they were cloaked in any case

Shuri only showed him what she wanted him to see...
besides he cant read, can't understand or use any interface

Shuri had to port the controls for him to use the sim...

for we all we know Shuri has one of these in her desk draw

He knows they have a mountain full of vibranium
He knows they have to do a certain process to get it out
He knows the vibranium powers tech operates on levels never seen and since she allowed him to operate it how malleable it is to work with.

again something they needed to SHOW..it would have been cool if they did show a quick scene of them erasing his memory..shit killmonger surreptiously slipped some shit in the museum curators drink...we need to SEE that shit otherwise its a potential plothole.

Did you see the movie yet? :dunno: Just curious.

Assist. :dunno:

Might be way too late for this... but.... :dunno:

If you still haven't seen the movie yet... here's some basic (NON-SPOILER) info, before you watch it... so you can know exactly 'who is who'.

Feel free to pass this on to anyone you know, who might need it. :dunno:

THE ROYAL FAMILY OF WAKANDA

- Chadwick Boseman as T’Challa: The Black Panther.

- Letitia Wright as Shuri: The Black Panther’s younger (16 year old) sister. Pure Genius. She is Wakanda's foremost Expert on Vibranium & also one of the smartest people on the planet. Literally. Her intellect even puts Tony Stark/Ironman to shame.

- John Kani as King T'Chaka: The late King of Wakanda who died in the Captain America: Civil War movie. Father of T’Challa & Shuri. He was the Black Panther before Chadwick Boseman.

- Angela Basset as Queen Ramonda: T'Chaka's wife. She is the Mother of T'Challa & his younger sister Shuri. Current Queen of Wakanda.

THE VILLAINS

- Andy Sirkis as Ulysses Klaue (aka Klaw): Deadly Mercenary / Ruthless Assassin / Notorious Smuggler. He previously stole large amounts of Vibranium from Wakanda and sold it to Ultron in the 2nd Avengers movie... right before Ultron severed his left arm in a fit of rage.

- Michael B. Jordan as Erik Killmonger: An American Soldier who helps Klaw carry out his insidious plans for Vibranium.

- Winston Duke as M'Baku: Leader of the Jabari Tribe. They control the Mountain Region of Wakanda & long to return to the 'old traditions' of Wakanda. (The Jabari Tribe is more connected to the Gorilla God, instead of the Panther God.)

THE DORA MILLAJE

This is the Royal Security Force - An elite unit of (all-female) Warriors whose SOLE PURPOSE is to guard the King of Wakanda. In the comics, the Dora Millaje were also considered 'Potential Queens' for an unmarried King. A female is recruited from every tribe of Wakanda to become a member of the Dora Millaje... in order to ensure that every tribe has the opportunity to put forward one of their daughters for the crown.

- Danai Gurira as Okoyé: She is the highest-ranking Military General of Wakanda. Also the Leader of The Dora Milaje.

- Lupita Nyong’o as Nakia: The Top Wakandan Military Counter-Intelligence Agent (Spy). Love Interest of T'Challa. She is 2nd-in-command of The Dora Millaje.

- Florence Kasumba as Ayo: Member of The Dora Millaje.

ADDITIONAL SUPPORTING CHARACTERS

- Martin Freeman as Everett K. Ross: American CIA Agent who is an expert on Wakanda. In the comics, his job was to escort foreign diplomats while on American soil. Namely T’Challa.

- Daniel Kalyuua as W’Kabi: He is T’Challa’s Best Friend & his 2nd-in-command. Completely loyal to his liege. He commands the military forces that secure the borders of Wakanda, to prevent invasion.

- Forrest Whitaker as Zuri: A close friend of the late King T'Chaka, who is now one of T'Challa's most trusted advisers.

- Sterling K. Brown as N'Jobu: A Wakandan 'War Dog' (aka Spy) who serves King T'Chaka.

Lastly, Read the article below.

He's known some of these things since civil war. Maybe you should watch both movies again. Listen to the conversation in the casino. Closely.

And they didn't take him to the hospital because he would have died. They put their tech in him to keep him alive. Take him somewhere outside of Wakanda and they find it.

He didn't have knowledge of everything, but he did know some stuff. He didn't know how much vibranium they really had, but he knew they weren't what they were claiming to be.

This question might have been asked and answered already but how did Killmonger find his way to Wakanda since he murked Ulysses Klaue.

He lied to Klaw & told him he 'needed him'.... to ensure he would always 'stay close'.

Killmonger knew where Wakanda was the whole time.
His father N'Jobu most likely told him how to get there & how to get inside.... if he told him everything else about Wakanda.

(Doesn't make sense that N'Jobu would tell his son all about 'the origin' of Vibranium... and how 'glorious' the Wakandan landscape is... and give him a Wakandan tattoo... but keep 'the location' a total secret. :dunno:)

That was a crazy trap.

Keep the prey close... so when its 'time to kill Klaw'... he didn't have to chase him all around the globe. :smh:
Like everyone else was doing. And failing. Badly.

That's called........ being a 'mastermind'.

Just my opinion.

Its exactly right.

He got in the crew solely to kill him and get in.

He knows how to get in.
He knows everything about their tradition which is why he asked them to ask him who he is and challenged challa to the fight

according to the end..not anymore.

I'm a tell ya'll the truth.. the WEAKEST part of Black Panther by far was the CIA agent Ross. His character was completely fucking superfluous to the story. His whole sole purpose in the story to was show that not all white people are evil. IMO the addition of that character was the cost of doing business for Coogler.

Use your imagination..remove Ross and instead have some assistant to Shuri use a fighter to shoot down the other planes...now tell me what significant way is the movie changed??

I'll wait...

The CIA Agent is 'the lens' through which (non-black) people can view Wakanda.

The whole purpose of the character is to give 'a Western/American perspective'.... on something they have never seen before.

They ask themselves... "How would I fit into this world? Ahhhh... yes. Ok, Everett Ross. That how. If I can see how Everett Ross deals with it... then I have a good idea of how I would also."

really? so the character is to help nonblack people relate and see themselves in the story... interesting...sooo how can non white people relate when we watch movies and tv shows where there isn't one person of color in the story like the first spiderman movie for instance??

for all the people who showed up the first 3 days do you think they would have been turned off if ross wasn't in the movie? or if ross was a BLACK CIA agent (they have those)

What lol.

Ross is who klau was meeting to buy vibranium.

They captured klau lol
Ross got shot by killmonger
He got taken back because they didn't want to just let him die.

You're trying a little too hard
There was precedent for Ross as he knew since the last movie.

Ross purpose was not random it fit in seamlessly with the MCU.
It was connected the story line
It wasn't to show not all white people were bad he was a plot device not even a player
Klau used to die.
Ross used to save then do a little ass task

Stop it

Ross was a bit player..fine they need his character to do the buy after that he was pointless. I'm talking about the story WRITING aspect of it. You are CORRECT. This very question is the 'main complaint' about Hollywood today.
Hollywood Studios have been IGNORING this very issue for a looooong time.

This is one of the BIGGEST reasons WHY they even made a Black Panther film..... with a 'predominantly black' cast, in the first place.

People been discussing... "Lack of Representation".... in Hollywood, for YEARS.

Where you been??? :dunno:

thats going from white to POC... but the reality is YOU and I and pretty much every non white person didn't NEED to see a POC in a significant role enough to relate to the Godfather or Scarface or The first fantastic four movie or the first or second Hulk flicks or Friends or Seinfeld or Downton Abbey or any other white cast flick. And cacs damn sure have no moral high ground to complain going the other way.

I saw 10 year old asian and hispanic kids with the Black Panther mask perched on their heads eating popcorn watching a african superhero in his land doing his thing around his people and I highly DOUBT they didn't relate to any of it UNTIL some white man showed up.:rolleyes::rolleyes:

You didn't need that character after a certain point in that movie.

Personally, I think you are giving the CIA Agent Ross a bit 'too much credit' for his role in the movie, in my opinion.

He didn't play such a 'big part' in the whole outcome of the movie. :smh:

Look at what Agent Ross did during the whole film...

- T'Challa, Okoyé & Nakia save his life in a Casino brawl.
- Then he interrogates Klaw. (After Black Panther, Shuri, Okoyé & Nakia 'do all the work' to capture him.)
- He gets shot by Killmonger when he rescues Klaw's from interrogation. Almost dies.
- Then Shuri performs surgery on him & saves his life.
- They give him a 'crash course' on Wakandan Tech.
- He travels with Ramonda, Nakia & Shuri to meet the Jabari Tribe.
- M'Baku literally 'punks him'. And makes him 'the butt of their jokes'.
- He flies a Wakandan jet.... Built by Shuri.
- While being 'coached' by Shuri.
- While Shuri was engaged in hand-to-hand combat, at the same time.

He really only had 'one job' (that he needed LOTS of help with)... while Shuri was 'multi-tasking'.

Not sure how people think Ross 'saved the day'... or that his character 'should not have been included'.... when there were only 2 white people 'with any significant speaking roles' in the whole movie. :dunno: (And one of them was the 'main villain'.)

The only other white person who 'had a few lines of dialogue'... was the Museum Curator. (And she died when her scene was over.)

I never said he saved the day..and your list proves my point. But youre right there were only two white people in the movie..one bad and one good...you know as a balance to show not all white people are evil given the fact that klaw was calling the africans savages at every turn. It was necessary to have a good white person as a counter even tho as you illustrate he didn't do a whole lot.

You might be right. :dunno:

But that's not the first time Marvel has done something like that tho.
Someone could make the same argument from the other side, if you look at...

Thor 2: The Dark World

Marvel cast 2 black guys in the same movie.
One was a good guy. One was a bad guy.

Idriss Elba as Heimdall

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje as Algrim/Kurse
