I have not heard anyone on here, else where and in my circle say this project was the GOAT.
It is exceptional
ESPECIALLY because of the way so many were doubtful before release.
It honors the original so well and for a fickle group like old head fan boys to respond THIS well?
It far exceeded expectections.
This is REALLY good work and looks headed in a good direction and is a MUCH needed win for Marvel/Disney
I don't know if it wanted or needed a goat label.
Its exceptional that's more than enough.
If it continues on this path?
Could be a contender because the ORIGINAL was already given one of the goat titles and this is NOT disappointing.

X-Men: The Animated Series
Season 4
I finished this season last night on the road.
Nightcrawler is introduced. I was surprised they depicted him being religious in a children’s cartoon along with making references to God and handing Logan the Bible. They also showed Logan in church bowing down and praying/reading scripture. Rogue joins him in prayer.
Magneto returns offering a Sanctuary for all Mutants on Asteriod M. A number of D-List mutants are shown along with Fabian Cortez.
The Shadow King debuts. We got a flashback of Xavier forming the original X-Men in their 1963 debut outfits, along with Wolverine with how he looked in his Marvel comics debut. Rogue, Gambit, Storm and Jubilee were in their original outfits in their Marvel comics debut.
The Sentinel Master Mode returns from being taken out earlier in the series.
Solarr/Children of the Shadow debut. Bishop and his sister Shard return for a two part time travel arc. Wolverine/Storm are a married couple in an alternate timeline.
Scarlett Witch/Quicksilver debut going against the High Evolutionary. They discover Magneto is their father. Nightcrawler returns and finds out Mystique is his mother and Nightcrawler finds out Friends of Humanity Graydon Creed is his brother.
Wolverine starts having some issues dealing with shit that has happened to him since he was Weapon X and feels like he is losing control, he returns to Japan for his own version of therapy. The Silver Samurai debuts. More information on Wolverine’s past is shown in flashbacks.
Apocalypse returns to end the season with a 4 episode arc. A large number of characters are brought in thruout those 4 episodes.

Ice Man was in season 3 and he has only been shown in one episode in the 4 seasons I have seen so far. His appearance was mainly getting over a grudge he had with Xavier that occurred before the series started.
What X-Men/X-Ray battle you talking about? If it occurred in season 5, I haven’t started that yet or it happened in a different X-Men cartoon.

The last two sucked ass.
Personally, I think Gargoyles and Batman TAS are the greatest cartoons ever.

I’m watching the original series now and just finished season 4. There are 5 seasons total.
I would recommend it cuz Disney is picking up after the end of the original series. There are a number of things that happened that never got resolved or left off for future storylines.
Eventually the new series is gonna tap into the old series continuing plots left off and officially closing them out. Most likely they will show a quick recap from whatever they picking up on, but it isn’t going to go in-depth.
I haven’t watched the new series, but if anyone watching it notices the characters making references to something in the past that hasn’t been shown, good chance they are referring to events in the original series. It’s not a plot hole.

Folks were cheering earlier that he got axed cuz he is gay and they assumed the series was gonna be full of gay references.
From what I been reading in the thread since it debuted, folks are loving the series.
So will Disney bring him back?….
