This is a thriller I stumbled upon a few weeks ago and watched last night on tubi.

It’s mainly a slasher flick with a different twist.

The plot revolves around truck stop prostitution in the state of Montana.

It has a decent amount of graphic violence if you enjoy that.

For the Foot Fiends, plenty of shots of WW feet, soles and toes thru-out the film.

For the Gay Agenda trackers, there is some Lesbian action, just PDA. There is a gay prostitute. Nothing is shown with him but he is involved in a graphic gay rape scene where he is the victim.

For the Militants, yes the film is in Montana, yes there are Black people living in Montana and yes, a Brotha gets some action in the film.

For the Pervs, there is full female nudity showing WW with hairy armpits and bush.

If you are one those people that think all White People are nasty, this film is scientific proof you can use to back your beliefs.

Synopsis

When Remy is expelled from her religious cult, she joins the secret world of truck-stop sex workers. Remy soon navigates between her strained faith and her new group's code to find her true calling in life.

First the Beekeeper now the Painter, what's next The Landscaper?

Almost forgot there is movie called The Bricklayer out.
Funny there is a Dean Koontz book i read called The Husband and he was a landscaper. His wife was kidnapped with a ransom and if i am remembering correctly to show how serious they were they killed this woman across the street walking her dog. Read it a long time ago.

If you like Bob's music, you'll like it, because there really wasn't much more to this :dunno:

It was a glossed over bio done by the family to sell records and merchandise. It was well done though, and there was money behind it. You learn nothing about Bob if you already know about him. It was good acting, but it wasn't any depth to the character. Lashana Lynch had more to do and did it well. There was music like every five minutes. I didn't mind it, because I love Bob, but half the movie was performances, him creating the music and him his songs playing in the background while they were showing scenes from his childhood.

I'd like to know what it could have been like without Rita and Ziggy involved.

Dean Koontz has some great books.
I became a fan after reading just one of his books a long time ago called The Watcher......

Into The Dark

6/10

This film is part of Hulu’s “Into The Dark” series. I watched it earlier this evening on Hulu.

The premise is nothing new, the film revolves around the weird “Purity” culture where fathers have their daughters pledge to stay virgins until they are married. Lots of Pedo around it.

With that, the story revolves around the Biblical “Lilith” who supposedly was Adam’s first wife before Eve.

The film moves at a good pace and is basically predictable for its ending. It has the standard “Jump Scares” thru-out. Not much for blood/gore.

For the Militants, the lead actress is Bi-Racial as a result of an Interracial Affair with a WM/BW.

If you are a hardcore horror fan, you will enjoy it.

They left it off for potential sequels.

Synopsis

A group of teenage girls at a purity retreat perform a secret ritual, and one of the girls sees a supernatural entity.

Watched The Iron Claw last night.

It was very good. The amount of tragedy that befell that family was something. Felt authentic to that time period and the actors portrayed their roles well.

I'm sure a number of you have heard about a key scene later in the movie. I knew about it going in and what to expect, but it still got me. Had me quietly wondering who was chopping onions nearby. Really effective in under 2 minutes given all that had happened prior.

Definitely recommend it.

Finally saw Baby Driver...

WOW!!!

How the f*ck did I miss this?

Amazing work.

Marvel NEEDS to send Edgar Wright 2 dozen gift baskets and get him back in house Pronto

Agreed.

Funny story for you, Playa.

I had always meant to get around to watching Scott Pilgrim vs the World. Knew about all the pop culture references, etc. It was just a movie that I put off forever (10 years or longer). Finally got around to watching it around 2020 or 2021 (after a 2010 release) and kicked myself for waiting so long, lol. Sat there laughing quite a bit.

Countless jokes and quotables in that one. Stylized work from Edgar Wright per usual.

Side note - Lily James has a role in The Iron Claw.

Still can't believe she pulled off playing Pamela Anderson so effectively (a year or two back) in the Pam and Tommy miniseries.

Wow.

Right cast horrible script. I would like to see someone make a real Bob Marley movie using this cast with a better script and include Peter Tosh because apparently they cut all of his scenes.

If that damn movie ends up turning a profit because of hate wa6ching and curiosity????

Nah, it's doing awful and worse than Morbius. They set the movie up for failure using the exact same two writers.

I intend to see it eventually, might be a two in a day since there's no more football on Sunday joint.

Morbius sucked, so I intentionally fell asleep. Other movies have been so bad I walked out or they were so bad I was laughing and entertained at how bad they were.

This is it. There was no substance to this. They gave a quick rastafari for dummies in a one or two minute speech. :smh:

It's like they cut all the movie and left ALL the music scenes in this. It had more music than Color Purple which was a musical.

A lot of people will like it, because you will like the music though. I just wanted a lot more.
