I missed the part where the cops saw his rap sheet before shooting him. Also, he was shot after he discharged the taser which could no longer be used thus no longer dangerous.

your chances of dying in police custody are only SLIGHTLY lower than if you have a shootout with them.

So according to your math and statistics, 125 Black men were killed out of the 10 million people arrested.
I wouldn’t want to be in that 125, but your numbers aren’t supporting your case. Yes people die in police custody. But your argument isn’t holding up.

Yes Rayshard was wrongly killed and although it’s a “Possibility” the cops would‘ve killed him that night. The probability is very low.
why are you lying to me? 1/4 of 1000 is 250. half of the 250 Black people killed by police were already in custody. Black men are 3 times more likely to be killed by police during a stop than white men, even though white men come into contact with police at higher rates. ANY Black man has a 1 in 1000 chance of being killed by police PERIOD. in some places cops kill more Black people than Black people do. in some places Black on Black crime IS LOWER than cop on Black crime. let that sink in. these numbers absolutely show the disparity of policing white folks vs Black folks to ANYONE WITH A BRAIN.

No he didn’t deserve to be shot in the back, yes the police were wrong. But taser and guns being pulled wouldn’t have happened if he were cuffed in the back seat.

This is a situation were a cop made a split second decision that looks to have been the wrong one after looking at the video. Dude didn’t have to die or should have died that day but the cops didn’t come off as trying to start trouble either

Ask the jury was the cops like in danger when he shot Rayshard in the back two times?
If the answer is yes, then the cop goes home.
If the answer is no, then it’s murder.

dude was so drunk he didn’t even know where he was, I just watched the 43 minute body cam video and he was coming up with all kinds of stories. At one point he said something like his girlfriend dropped him off at the Wendy’s and left and he just got in the drivers seat. I’m gonna watch it again to see what all he was saying.
