This is my second week on IF. Eating window is 1-8pm. Work out in the morning with great results and I'm also on a Keto diet at the moment. Trying to cut some weight to tone up more. It's been working out great for me mentally and physically.

Great thread btw.

Oh and I'm trying the two meals a day with snack.

Intermittent fasting has a ton of health benefits and it helps a great deal in fat loss. But there is one particular which is probably the greatest benefit and this is something called autophagy.

I gotta try this fam...

can you tell me exactly what you doing?

Bruh we have 7 pages of info here lol But 6 days a week my eating window is from 11 to 7pm at the latest most of the time I do 11 to 5pm, When I'm not in my eating window I only drink water, lots of water, Mondays I'm in the gym(squats, deadlifts, hang cleans, and hiit), tues and thurs I do a full boxing workout and Saturdays I run 3 miles and do pushups and pullups. The only day I don't really fast is on Saturday. I like the program because I can give into a bad food craving if I want with no ill effects. If you do it with a good exercise plan then it really works, when I see someone they be like "damn you been in the gym hard", plus overall ive been sleeping way better and feeling great, plus it keeps me from all that snacking that I used to do in between meals.

If you trying to gain muscle yup

I don't know how it happened I went from 174/177 with a 32/34 waist to like 194 and jeans not fitting in less than a year.

f*ck that I know what happened I stopped working out, kept eating late at night, NOT eating during the day, really bad sleep habits, running on empty and stressed as hell.

I'm getting a YMCA membership for the whole family in a few weeks, getting my mountain bike tuned up and changing my diet up and trying with YOUR help crafting a workout regime.

you just became my life coach (no more of this part time stuff)

If you want to gain lots of muscle mass then, You should go high protein and a good amount of carbs, In college football when they wanted us to put on muscle it was meals , like steak and potatoess or chicken and pasta. If they wanted us to lean out then the carbs would be cut for a lean muscle diet, but protein should be a big component to any diet you are on.

It depends if you want lean mass or just super swole mass lol

But this intermitted fasting is a certified fat burner and I can confirm that, my shoulders and traps have gained size and I'm on a low carb eating, I mostly meat, veggies and fruit.

I tell people all the time "I eat what I want as long as it's in my feeding window."

They look at me like I'm crazy but it's true. During the week I'm pretty clean as far as eating goes, but I do have an uncontrollable sweet tooth and I often times give on to it. But still, it is within my window so I don't trip.

The Saturdays, all bets are off. I still try to stay within my window but the food I eat then is just out there. I had cracked 219lbs on the scale Friday morning, and to celebrate I had the biggest fuckin burger I could find and a side of garlic parmesan fries.

I love this way of eating because I don't feel bad after eating a real fucked up meal. I know I'll get it back on track.

Saturday evening I had a full seafood platter with dirty rice and some mozzarella cheese sticks:lol: but I had good fast that night and sunday I only ate from 2 to 6, I'm but to hit up heb so I can come home and bake some chicken then I'm hitting the gym at 1230 . This is one of the best threads ever on bgol.

So you don't do breakfast? Or a pre-workout meal?

My first meal of the day is usually oatmeal and a banana or eggs and a banana I hit the gym about 1230 on mondays and Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays I workout about 4 in the afternoon.

I'll have that first meal around 11 then around 2 I will have chicken and veggies, then I will have something protein based for my last meal and some fruit. If I workout late then I will mix up a protein and fruit shake to have after.

Late week I'm up at 430 am and dont workout until 4pm, plus no way I could do a 14 round boxing workout with some type of fuel lol
Where you box? I've been wanting to get into that next. Ultimate Warriors is kinda close to me on Mesa Rd in the hood, but my work schedule won't allow me to go there n train with them....

I go to Hanks Gym on the southwest side close to 59 and chimney rock, it's full fledged gym, the boxing gym is in the back behind the regular gym, black owned, the owner is a pro boxing trainer/manager, lots of athletes workout there. On the weekdays the boxing section stays open until 8pm. There's always someone in there willing to work with you.

I don’t know why you niggas always post these two clown niggas videos! Not everything is supposed to be on some clown shit. These Biggs’s are buffoons... I like to hear information from a serious source, not two clowns who can’t say one fucking sentence without trying to make some dumb bitches laugh.

still on it as well and results are addictive, eating window 1pm-9pm, fasted cardio in the mornings, weights about 4pm depending on my schedule and after my first meal, then last meal like 7:30-8pm plus drinking minimum gallon of water a day

so you are doing the 16 or so hour fast instead of the 20 hours fast

i wonder if there is really that big of difference
