And against Demolition(who in my opinion where better in the ring wrestling wise than the Road Warriors who I did like better because Animal and Hawk had personality).

That's wrestling blasphemy

but true. Bill Eadie was on the older side but he was a better worker than either Hawk or Animal while Barry Darsow knew from up close how to bite the Warriors' gimmick and took it as far as he could.

Dolph Ziggler vs. Daniel Bryan of a rematch from last night on Raw. Should be good and they'll probably give Dolph his win back. Hopefully, they'll give them time to put on another great match.

That's not a good look. Hopefully TNA will not put the X-Division title on him yet. I think it was a mistake to even put him near Jay Lethal without any build up at all. He shouldn't even be considered a contender until December, after facing Red and Shannon Moore.

Considering that he is already cutting promos on Lethal and pursuing the X-Division title and the fact that he attacked Lethal at the last pay per view the feud is more than likely to come sooner rather than later.

Amazing, isn't it? TNA/Vince Russo had the patience to put together the whole "They" storyline but on the other hand, they hotshot a brand new wrestler with a brand new gimmick into a position with a guy who's one of their most popular guys in Jay Lethal for a title they should still be rebuilding. Like with Doink or Goldust, a stupid gimmick can get over but it takes time and persistence and it can't be seen as being crammed down the fans' throats but somehow Russo and Co. can't see that with The Shore.

Actually George Scott took over after Dusty was fired (according to Ric's autobiography). Flair got on a booking committee the first time right before Clash V, with Kevin Sullivan, Jim Barnett, Jim Herd, and Eddie Gilbert.

That's right I forgot about Scott it's been along time since I read Flair autobiography.

Even time wouldn't get over The Shore gimmick. The gimmick is horrible, the promos are bad,the valet is worthy of X-Pac heat and the wrestler involved isn't that good. His finisher even looked lackluster. Somebody said that this is a bad version of Zack Ryder's gimmick and they are right.Unfortunately, he got depushed just when he seemed to be building up some level of steam.

I was so mad when the Sheepherders becamse the Bushwhackers and sat around waiting for that (I thought)inevitable heel turn. But I can't be mad at Luke and Butch. They probably made more money in the few years they were licking people's faces than they ever
did bleeding in barbed wire matches with The Fantastics.

Zack Ryder had such potential. I wonder what he did or who was on his team that got fired/quit. He went from beating Tommy Dreamer and Hurricane Helms to losing to Santino.
I believe any gimmick can be gotten over with the right talent, wrestler and creative. I don't know if Robbie E and Vince Russo are those people. Vickie Guerrero used to get X-Pac heat but she stuck with it and kept working and became a great heel.

:lol::lol: Vickie gets much love from me for losing so much weight. She still can't get it but now I can say "I see how Eddy could get caught up." I couldn't do that before.

Vickie look like she used to have a nice booty, it's still kinda stickin' out now. That had to be it.

But then again, wasn't he fuckin' Chyna? Or was that just a storyline?

That was storyline but she did used to fuck HHH and Sean Waltman (I guess Kevin Nash left just in time). She wasn't always a disaster (after a number of surgeries) but I never thought she was fuckable. Damn, X-Pac used a lot of drugs but what was Hunter's excuse? That boy must really love big titties.

On another front, an upcoming WWE dvd release I'm really interested in

The official blurb for the 50 Greatest WWE Superstars DVD set reads: "It's a timeless debate for sports entertainment fans everywhere. Who is the greatest of all time? Better yet, what superstars make up your top 10, or if you are a real student of history, 20, 40, or 50? The debates and cross-generational comparisons can go on forever, as fans compare Stone Cold to the Hulkster, Ric Flair to Shawn Michaels, this generation's giant (Big Show) to the all-time Giant (Andre), or ask whether John Cena and Randy Orton have already done enough to cement a permanent legacy in this industry. Now, with the 50 Greatest Superstars in WWE History fans can enjoy the first-ever countdown of the biggest superstars in history, complete with highlights of the top 50, commentary from today's WWE Superstars explaining their choices, and more. " The 3 DVD set will be released on 12/14

For just WWWF/WWF/WWE, I'd pick Hogan but for all time, it's got to be Flair and his Last Man Standing match with Foley and his promos since joining TNA have cemented that even further.

All Time for is Flair , but for WWWF/WWF/WWE-I would go with Bruno. Now if he was born maybe a few years later it would've been Superstar Billy Graham

Bruno's top 5 (top 2 even) but I do think Hulk passed him. I don't think either would be able to do what the other did in their eras: I don't think Bruno could have maintained his popularity across the nation as Hulk did but I'm sure Hulk wouldn't have been able to draw in the old WWWF territory, with the same arenas every month.

I think he would've while Bruno was more on the east coast Bruno did travel from time to time and he drew good money.

I like the route they've taken it. It was getting stale a couple of weeks ago but its taking a new turn. I like adding Mr Perfect's son and Husky Harris to them. Makes them more intimidating than before.

I thought Raw was pretty good this week. Seems like they focused more on the wrestling. That Dolph Ziggler/Bryan and Miz/R-Truth matches were solid.

All Time goes to flair but watch vince put cena at 1 or 3 and have rock at 10:smh: I hate when they release these 50 greatest whatever dvds or magazines, because they always let petty bullshit ruin it.

PS: Anybody get the new SVR game yet?, i'm hesitant since they've become like madden to me.

In other Guerrero news the WWE has signed Eddie and Vickie's daughter Shaul Marie to a developmental contract.

Completely agree. LOD had the look, but they weren't very good workers in their prime, just stiff.

BTW, that Roadwarriors DVD that the WWE put out was brutal to watch during the match portion. Their matches, in general, haven't aged well at all. The Demos on the other hand

I thought about getting that shit tuesday, but I looked it up on IGN and they ain't really add anything to it that made me HAVE to get it. All they did was add the ability to buss objects different ways, a "create-a-match" thing, updated the roster and added a weird semi-free roam feature to Road to Wrestlemania.
