You convinced me so we booked our flight. How did you get around, did you get a rental?

I got with a local cat who does tours that one of my friends who went before put me down with. Since it was my first time i wasn't fucking with driving due to the spotyy cellphone service for gps purposes and Liberia/Guanacaste having alot of country type roads. On the daytrip to Nicaragua they had all the passport shit set up when you hit the border.

After we left the Rio Celeste waterfall we hit up this bar/restaurant in the middle of the rainforest, nicca we saw sloths, white faced monkeys, fruit bats, poison dart frogs and crazy shit was there it was no zoo or captivity shit.

Poison Dart Frog

The Rio Celeste waterfall, Ock free lol I live a great life.

Man fuck the DR, I just came back last week with a bad stomach virus. Been out of the office for 3 days.
Their food is bland and awful, unlike Jamaican or Nigerian food.

this is one of my favorite tools for travel: https://www.seatguru.com/

You can pull up your flight seat map and see which seats are the best for your trip. Even if you have status and get free upgrades, some premium seats are better than others. You can maximize your miles/points too as some business/F fares are not worth the premium.

Lots of business deals like this out there if you are willing to get a little creative.

You can even convert your amex points at 1:1:

I have done both premium economy and business to Madrid on Iberia recently and even the premium economy is an excellent deal (better food, wider seat, better cabin service, way more recline, priority boarding etc). I actually paid cash for the upgrade to premium economy and it was only around 150 euros which is a crazy deal considering what Delta et al. charge for a similar product The business class flight using Iberian avois is an amazing deal too but the availability is limited as everyone knows about it now. :lol:Definitely worth it as it is true lay flat and the same experience the legacy carriers offer on transatlantic business. However, don't let them trick you on an upgrade to business for flights within Europe or north africa/middle east etc. That shit is NOT worth the upgrade...

If you don't get lounge access through status or fare class, this is a nice little trick for getting cheap access(Make sure you check your amex/sapphire etc. first as you probably have free access regardless of airline status):

These lounges are not not the same as a full fledged admirals club or sky club etc. but definitely way better than sitting out near the gate.

Im still recovering from back surgery but soon as the surgeon releases me and I get back to work im booking a trip. Been thinking of Cape Verde or south America. I could have flown since I been off work but it just got to the point where I can sit longer than hour and still be comfortable plus I been rehabbing.
