Would you pay $900,000 for this 14K Square Foot Mansion in Lithonia, GA?

Lolz at “fixer upper” comments. Needing a new roof and replacing carpets aren’t fixer upper projects.

Id buy that and move my whole family in that bitch, mother and younger brothers. I’m not sure of the location but fuck what ya heard, that’s a beautiful house.

No,that house is just way to big and I would only use a fraction of it in reality and I don't like how it sits at the bottom of like a hill and I noticed like the carpet and floor having stains and the gym it out of the 80's

sale me the land,i'll knock that house down

I would and I'd rehab it and add furniture that matches the house. You can't have "apartment" furniture in a house that size. The only room that reflected that you were in a "mansion" was the kitchen. The shower was going there but it looked hidden.

More negatives than positives. My first thoughts are how much the overhead is per month? Who wants all that funky carpet? It's so big that you could have a family of six in that joint with 10 squatters in it without even knowing. Who da hell cleans that place? Their ass is fired. I guess the biggest question is how much is too much house? Guess I value land more than I do a big house. Oh well, to each his own.

If I had the bread...still wouldn't buy it. Big and outdated with every room needing a color update. Top of that I'm no fan of two stories, houses sitting downhill and spiral staircases.

Right. It ain't about just getting the house, but maintaining it, upgrading it and the monthly bills. If you aren't truly prepared for that the house can go to shit very quickly.

It's difficult to speak to how terrible a lot of the decisions were with regard to this house. If you're building a 14k sq ft house you don't put the shitty Home Depot light and bathroom fixtures in it, they bring the value down. You also don't put the Home Depot tile and flooring throughout the house, bc it brings the value down.

This house might be the perfect blend of nigga rich and poor taste, making ur question a difficult one to answer. Would I buy the house, no. The house is too big and too much of the space is wasted, plus it will take a real investment to get it right and I don't know shit about the location and whether the money would ever come back (an entirely different conversation).

Is the house worth the money at 900K, yeah probably. Again, as long as you know going in it's another 400k to get it right and another 200k to make it worth something someone else MIGHT pay for (assuming it isn't on the edge of a toxic dump site).
