Would you pay $900,000 for this 14K Square Foot Mansion in Lithonia, GA?

Some dirty ass country nigga owned this crib.
Hillbillies didn’t wear shoes outside and walked right into the crib with their dirty ass hillbilly Georgia feet

It's not even foot traffic look at the baseboards around the walls! The carpet looks like it's starting to rust over!!! And the walkway of that bedroom... GARBAGE!

Is the house worth the money at 900K, yeah probably. Again, as long as you know going in it's another 400k to get it right and another 200k to make it worth something someone else MIGHT pay for (assuming it isn't on the edge of a toxic dump site).

exactly.

Id bet anything it was built along the time that the "mcmansion" craze was going on. A shit load of fluctuating loans that people couldn't afford let a LOT of folks buy big houses around the metro. Then, people realized they couldnt afford those shits and a bunch of them went up on the market for pennies afterwards. There's empty houses like this all over ATL. Many of them sit in the middle of neighborhoods that don't even suit the houses.

Yep! And there are more houses in that same neighborhood that are up for sale.

Lolz at “fixer upper” comments. Needing a new roof and replacing carpets aren’t fixer upper projects.

Id buy that and move my whole family in that bitch, mother and younger brothers. I’m not sure of the location but fuck what ya heard, that’s a beautiful house.
Landscape maintenance will eat you alive.

The carpet is not filthy. That is no where near filthy

You don't see those rust colored stains along the base boards?!?! Or those stains as you walk into the room?!?!

Man some of you niggas killing me. Y’all speaking on the house like it is trash. This house shit on the crib you currently living in.

Y’all acting like you living in something better

Not saying I have anything better, but my shyt was clean when I paid for it. If I go to a dealership and buy a Bugatti and it comes out in temporary tires I am not driving that thing away until someone puts some decent tires on it. Who pays sticker price for something only to deal with the problems the previous owner didn't want to deal with?!

If I had a family and the cash Hell Yeah! Could even use it as a future investment. But at 900K I want to know what's wrong with it. It appears to be worth far more.

Would make a few adjustments for my personal needs and I'd be good.

what’s wrong with it....it’s in the title “lithonia”

The baseboards/door frames are splitting... on a 900k dollar house. These are little cosmetic, ticky-tack issues. But if you couldn't take care of those LORD knows what else is going on. Someone mentioned what looks like water damage to some areas, and we are just looking at PICTURES!!!! And then the area supposedly a shyt hole. These issues are not worth 900k, 250k if you want someone to even consider taking on this problem child ass house.

How will you keep the whores from fighting and tearing up the house?

What if one of em shits on the floor? Hey, it has happened.

Is your pimp hand that strong to keep these hoes in line?
Homie, I would have a government grant to handle all that shit. Hoes would sign away all privacy rights and my reality show would be off the hook.

Floors all wood, tile or marble, light paint scheme. Shit would be epic.

I remember paving that street 20 years ago when I worked for GDOT. Nice neighborhood but that house isn't reflective of what's out there. Looks a bit run down. I'd take the 900k and get something with less miles on it.

I knew it lol. I've seen this story too many times in ATL. There's neighborhoods like this all over Ellenwood, Lithonia, and even Cascade. Bend one wrong corner you in the hood.

YEP!! I know that mug needs a new roof by now. You can see the spots in the ceilings where leaks were repaired. I'm seeing baseboards and doorframes that need to be replaced. Lotta water damage, which makes sense seeing that the house is at the bottom of a hill. Carpet needs to be replaced. Honestly I would redo the kitchens. Lotta work needs to be done.
Yeah, this would be my concern as well, being down hill where all the water runs to the property is ALWAYS a problem, especially since the foundation is essentially a slab.

And you know what speaking of Lithonia, how the fuck did they just let the violence run the area down like that? I mean when they first started building in that area I was thinking it was going to be along the lines of what part of PG County are to DC. The mall was nice, new streets, lit up street signs at night... it was nice as fuck. Now it's just... Decatur part 2 lol. And that's not including the city of Decatur or north Decatur either. They basically went the same route Clayton County did after Eastern Airlines left and the projects in the city shutdown. Don't get why it always has to be like that for the black areas. That area near stonecrest was developed way too nicely to be what it is. I remember a few years back when they banned teenagers from the mall without an adult because it was so out of control. SMH

It's the section 8 and apartment complexes all around that area that house a bunch of people who've been priced out of the city and pushed to the edges of metro ATL. A bunch of dumb niggas out there. Absolute savage assholes.

Stonecrest is now a city though.

They're trying to turn the area around but I have no idea what progress is being made.

here's the latest city council meeting:

This is the dumb shit I'm talking about:

These are the type of niggas roaming around Lithonia.
