Didn't ever think I'd be making one of these. R.I.P. Killagram.

Just think about what we could've achieved if we had all come together and truly collaborated. The knowledge and insights shared on this board over the years could've built something incredible.

Motherfucker, still bringing up shit from 10 to 15 years ago trying to get a laugh at someone else’s expense.
Man who you telling. The barbecues, the laughs, the cruises, the trips.

More than anything else we are seeing our mortality right now. We're losing friends, relatives, parents. We all we got. We need more connections, not fewer.

I remember when stretch walls passed away a few years ago. His stretched out observations of Game of thrones were looked forward to as much as the show.

@killagram - you left an impact, as we all well knew you did / would.

Brings a smile to my face knowing you're still out there in the universe showing people it ain't nothin' to bench press 400+ easily (lightweight), while destroying a wide assortment of heaux , and winning thousands regularly betting on combat sports, while also making a good living with your business(es) & helping out others with advice when possible.

Livin' the life ... eternally. One of BGOL's all-time realest.

It's with heavy heart that I have to share with the members of BGOL that our brother and friend Killagram has transitioned on to the next life.

He was born on July 26 1978 and passed on March 2, 2024. It took me a long while to find this out, as the nature of our relationship didn't yield much access to family or people who could confirm what had happened. Killa was my bro, partner in crime, a businessman, a dawg on these hoes, and was every bit the real life character he was on this board. He always bought the bar and he took good care of his employees and family, and he fed the streets as best he could. So rest assured he enjoyed life.

I'm not sharing his name partly because I know how ignant niggas on this board can be, but mostly because if I could ask him if he wanted me to I'm pretty sure he'd be like fuck naw lol. I don't suppose it matters much either way, because Killa was who the board knew.

This shit really sucks.

R.I.P. @killagram, you were truly a real one.
We all gone have to travel the same road. Toasts to that brotha.

Nah this isn't a matter of getting up in age this is just a situation where someone died far too young.

People are living well into their 70s and 80s now so unlike in the past dying at 46 has nothing to do with age.
Yeah man a lot of folks don't make it out they 40s....a popular rapper in Houston just died due to health issues and he like 2 years younger than me. Health issues compound in them 40s. I don't know his cause of death so I'm not speculating.

As a school teacher it's unfortunate but you have to help kids grieve through their losses in life. I came across this book titled Tuck Everlasting and it explained death and dying in the most beautiful way possible. So now every year I find time to read it to my students (if they're in the lower grades because you never know what they are going through). I won't spoil the book for others but basically it teaches why death is important and one of the most beautiful aspects of life. (however do not watch the movie it's bullshit). So many people think they want to live forever but that amount of time on Earth is nothing but a curse.

“Everything's a wheel, turning and turning, never stopping. The frogs is part of it, and the bugs, and the fish, and the wood thrush, too. And people. But never the same ones. Always coming in new, always growing and changing, and always moving on. That's the way it's supposed to be. That's the way it is.”

“Life's got to be lived, no matter how long or short. You got to take what comes.” “Like all magnificent things, it's very simple.” “Don't be afraid of death; be afraid of an unlived life.”

I have used this book as well for similar reasons. Knowing another brother uses this book just made my year.
Keep doing your thing, king. We do god’s work.
