True! I expected a better mix of action and showing dissociative identity disorder. Six episodes just isn't enough to really get into it. Oscar is doing a great job.
If you watch the episode again, he was Jake when he picked up the glass right before they injected him. He started talking in like a rugged NY cabbie accent

jake has been there
jake is the one that punched steven in the face at the mouth of the tomb; marc looks at steven as a person he has to take care of .....like a brother....like the brother he failed to take care of when he was a kid ....he wouldnt hit steven - hell the reason you even had a steven is because of the beating Marc got from his mother...so it doesnt make sense that marc would punch steven in the face at all....
People who don't read the comics wouldn't know this and 6 episodes were too short. This has been a win for Marvel to me, shit needs 2 or 3 seasons to get into it. And I think Werewolf By Night is coming. Dane Whitman for sure, people don't know that his Ebony Blade is directly connected to Knull and AllBlack, the Necro Sword. AKA the God Butcher
EDIT. The next character has been revealed in Moon Knight's end credits. The moon's phases have been slowly turning into a full moon. Werewolf by Night. Marvel is wild as fuck.

So here is the real crazy thing
There are three states of the mind always at work- the super ego ( what we project to others ) the ego ( who we think we are ) and the id ( who we actually are but is linked to our unconcious and our own secret wants )
there are 3 personalities - marc the original - Steven who is created to be the nice guy ...and of course the last personality ( the bad guy that marc THINKS he is ) Jake
We have seen Jake several times in the show - in glimpses only because the other two personalities (the ego and super ego ) refuse to really acknowledge the third who is the Id the innermost reality of what Marc is as a person who revels in violence
And that personality is the one that Konshu wants the most - what better avatar to be the "fist" of vengeance to have exist than a person who has no problem being physically violent
Konshu may have been playing on .arc his entire life
If you've ever watch American Gods you realize that Odin was influencing events to manipulate Shadow into eventually serving as his companion - this includes Odin creating the conditions to cause the death of Shadows wife as a to manipulate Shadow by accessing him in his grief.
I think we are going to find that Konshu may have done the same thing to Marc - Konshu killed Marcs brother by causing the rain that drowns him in the cave to destroy Marcs family and Marcs mother
to treat him in a way that would break Marcs spirit and his mind .
All of this is done to make the Jake persona so that Konshu has a better servant than Harrow was.
remember to the Gods - people are tools - and to an Egyptian God what better tool than a Hebrew who to the Egyptians were slaves - Konshu has "enslaved" Marc (a jew) to his service....just as the Hebrews in ancient times were enslaved by the Egyptians

Cats were knocking it saying it was pointless and stupid.
Since it’s release, we have been seeing how the series is connected to the MCU, even though it was a animated series.
And in the recent Dr. Strange TV spots, Captain Carter makes a quick cameo.
So it’s obvious that Moon Knight will play a part in the entire MCU saga with what is going on…whether you like it or not.
It’s obvious this is not a stand alone series. Remember, Kevin Feige cancelled all the original TV series cuz they were causing too much confusion and bringing it all under the MCU umbrella.
We will see in the future how this series ties in.

No not really - marc is a Midwestern kid - he never shows any accent at all - the only ppl that have accents are the alter ego ( there's that term again "ego" )
And let me correct myself - its marc that punches Steven in the face but its Jake that takes the hit
Marc made Steven to be the son that he hopes his mother can love - when the mother came in the room he switched from marc to being Steven- but when the mom began to beat Steven thats when Jake is made
Jake is the "hard knock " guy - he is the one that killed those ppl in the village - he is the one that killed the Arab dude by stabbing him - you even see Marc ask Steven "what did you do? " Steven is like "I didnt do anything " - thats because Jake did it - Jake is more brutal and ruthless than Marc
In the show you always see a mirror or reflective surface and it shows one other and when 3 faces are shown that 3rd face is silent
In the end credits you see 3 faces all the time - there's 3 of a thing repeatedly in the show
Jake is the personality that asked the girl out - it wasn't Marc - Marc is still in love with Laila - Steven didn't even know HOW to ask her out becuase he is timid and scared
As I said before - you've been seeing Jake as often as the other two - you just didn't realize it at the time
most dont realize the point of the show; just like most didnt realize the point of the marvel cinematic until it smack them in the face...

I haven't watched the latest episode yet, but I thought that was Marc that punched Steven cause he kissed Layla? I don't care HOW MUCH you love one of your siblings! They kiss your wife...romantically? Yeah you're getting a shot to the face!
I always saw it the other way around Steven protected Marc. Marc wasn't going to be a functioning member of society. Not with his trauma that never got worked out. Steven helped by not letting that trauma run wild. Sure Marc took the beatings from Marcs mother but Steven was the one that didn't let Marc have to deal with normal stupid ass people.
I don't like Jake being introduced without the Steven personality, but they could be taking the show in a more serious route.
So DI disorders would create two souls? I would like to think there have been more than ONE person that had to deal with DID died and had to be judged. Taweret is so surprised and doesn't know what to do. Does Konshu's power give Steven a soul? Jake is obviously in the third sarcophagus, so how did the scale become balanced if he wasn't allowed to be judged?
Shit was alright and it was rushed like you said ..they got out of the duat kinda easy. I didn't like the khonshu a.mit battle distracted too much from moon knight and they should've focused on him more but it was okay. Are khonshu and ammit ethereal beings that only avatars can see? the citizens of Egypt seemed not to notice two giant beings fighting ear the pyramids. I was dissatisfied with the Saturday morning killing is wrong ending but the after credit scenes .ade up for it nicely I didn't see that coming.

I don't know much about .long knight so I watched a few YouTube videos about his history etc. If this show is not getting another season in wonder what direction they will take with this character. Werewolf by night is inn the works so he could show up in that since werewolf by night was moon knights first comic book debut as a .mercenary hired to take down the werewolf.
Also this series didn't cover everything and left some things open. Bushmaster was a. mentioned in the flash back episode so if they do a second season he could serve as the main villian or a movie. I like that he used the grapling hook so hopefully fully the feature some of his other weapons like spiked brass's knuckles or side arms. Finally they need to display his power levels. Moon knights strength levels vary depending on what phase the moon is in.
