Robbie was completely out when his arm dropped the way it did. If Herb would have stopped the fight right then, not one person would have argued. The only reason Robbie came back is because Askren loosened his grip. Just so surprised no fighters are saying that. Fuck a re-match. Askren won and personally I would love to see Askren fight someone else.
Robbie beat the dog shit out of Askren. Askren has the hardest head in MMA.
Unfortunate that it was such a short fight too. Really exciting up until that point. Which is funny to say for an Askren fight. But less so for Lawler - as he's a veteran in the game with crazy highlights, and some of the best fights of the past decade (versus Condit, MacDonald, Hendricks, Cerrone, etc). His initial debut in the UFC was 17 years ago this May! Damn!

I'm 50-50 on wanting to see it. I love the match-up, but feel as though Jones still has his number. It would definitely haunt DC if he lost to him again, and finished his MMA career only having losses to 1 person (his arch nemesis). If DC pulled off the upset win, I'm sure he'd want to retire on that ... whereas Jones would probably want to run it back immediately. DC turns 40 this month. Jones is 31.
