I've started the 16:8 IF. One week so far. Due to my work/life schedule I'm finding it hard to maintain a workout programme to go with this. I know this would increase my weight loss but I am so tired after work to go ahead and do so. I was also getting headaches at first but no more. I'm finding it hard also to drink water regularly.

try adding some lemon to the water, it can get a little monotonous in the beginning if you don't normally drink a lot of water to start with

breakfast is the easy one for me

it's lunch that's the killer..because you are used to going to lunch at work.. and everybody eating...

Yeah lunch is tough too because for some it's a social thing and a way to get out of the office for a while.

Under 210lbs for the first time in YEARS....I mean I'm turning back the clock here fellas... Nothing fits, I had to drill a hole in my belt, and I have to wear some sweats under my work Dickies or they won't fit.

I had to take a week off from the gym due to work and it picking up leading into the holiday. I work for the Budweiser distributor, I've only been home 10 hours the past 2 days. But I got 3 days to rest, then Monday I'm back at it with a few changes.

I finally got badge access to the on site gym we have and it's fuckin NICE! I'm cancelling one of my gym memberships because this one at my job has everything I need. Since I'm a bit of a night owl, I plan on working out there after my shift, then get my cardio and sauna time in the morning before work. Me boy is a ex bodybuilder and owns 3 supplement stores, so I'm gonna get a stack from him he used to build and preserve lean muscle. The way I'm going I may get to 205lbs and just get lean as fuck.

I think we really need to get a good workout thread poppin', with fitness tips, workout programs, splits, just good solid info. That swole ass nigga @Osca Lee used to have one going, but it hasn't been bumped in a while...

I see ya getting back on track. Im on track to leaning out as well. Im sprinting 6 60's per day in the heat and burning it off that way.

I will get the thread back up and running real strong again just a lil busy now. Gone and get it going im sure there are young brothers and sisters in here that need thst daily motivation.

You got hook up coming from me real soon. You have dedication to that iron and I respect that.

I used to take it with ACV, raw honey, cinnamon, water and lemon juice, but I could never get the honey to blend in so I just stuck to acv and black seed, cut it with water.

Gonna start in June. I have been working out for almost two months already. I am 6'0 tall but I ballooned all the way up to like 235 being on some work then on some sleep n' eat shit:smh:. Since I been working out I already lost 15 pounds:yes:. Once I begin my IF my goal is to get to 185. I am inspired by ya'll stories:cool:.

Does the erythritol in Truvia ever make you feel bloated?

I think that might be the only thing keeping me from trying it.

I'm about to start making my own fruit drinks/juicing to go with my dinner instead of buying them, and I might need a sweetener. I bought some pure organic liquid Stevia extract a couple months ago and I didn't like it. Erythritol is the next best thing as far as GI, and Truvia is basically Stevia + Erythritol.

Nah I feel fine with Truvia. That's the only sweetener I use now. I was using equal but after seeing maltodextrin in it I gave it up.

Nigga this shit great! I keep telling people I eat what the fuck I want and still lose weight... But when I tell them I skip breakfast they look at me like I got a fuckin tail!

Oh well... I'll enjoy my beer, chips and guac tonight... Then clean it up and get back to normal Monday

Have any of you noticed that with the intermittent fasting, you don't eat as much per meal?

I swear I sit down and have what would normally be a regular sized portion and I can only get through half of it before my stomach feels like I'm full as hell.

Shit is wild. I'm taking a full meal splitting it into two now which is also a saver on not just the stomach, but the wallet too.

Win win.

I been on this for about 3 months and I'm down 25 lbs. Still eat mostly what I want and thats the crazy part,just between 2pm and 10 am. I have cut back a whole lot on dairy too so thats a plus. Haven't even started working out yet. I'm getting a bike on Monday and gonna ride that everyday. Really not a gym person, all I would do there is cardio for the most part anyway. Yea I'm still at Hanks, I'm bout to go hit it in an hour, today is squats, deadlifts and hang cleans them I'll knock out some cardio in this heat

Hmmm want to do this but for health reason, got IBS. I already eat a strict eating plan and go crazy on Saturday sometimes Sundays so my IBS has taught me to be disciplined. My issue is you guys talking about losing weight. I'm wanting to gain weight I'm 175 wanting to get back to 185 I got the slim athletic build. I have a meal plan from fitness pal where I'm suppose to eat 2390 calories a day to gain like .5 lbs a week. I eat about 2525 calories getting 115carbs, 180g fat, 112 protein, 1160mg sodium, and 44g of sugar. Will I need to increase calories if I do this?

Was at 208, now at 197lb and trying to get to 175 with this fasting. My body has adjusted really well to the point where I sometimes don't get a meal for 15 hours. I've been running 3 miles or do 45 min. on an elliptical 5-6 days a week. I do stack a lot of carbs, but that's because I love my food.
