my cheat day turned into cheat week  :smh: :smh:

Friday I had wings, Saturday, Pizza, Sunday I had meatballs and ravioli and now I just had some nuggets from Chick Fil A

need to get back on my shit

One thing I've noticed, IF seems to have restarted my metabolism.

after all the shit I've eaten, I'm only +0.2lbs on the week

I’ve did that on 3 day weekends, Friday-Sunday just ate garbage BUT i’d still stay within my eating window. On Monday i’d go back to my vegetables, rice and chicken/turkey. I’m 6’2 and went from 230 to my lowest of 193, the highest I’ve gotten since is 200 lbs

As long as you maintain your eating windows and don't go to crazy IF still works well. I have had cake and icecream on occasions but I still eat a lot veggies and drink a lot of water. I am holding fast around 265 and I am 6'6". I was once 340.

Since I last posted I started a less aggressive 12/12 instead of the 16/8 with the occasional one meal a day. I have gained about 10 pounds over the last several months but it is good weight because I still run in the mornings and workout. Yesterday I weighed in at 274ish. My playing weight was 285 so I am still ahead of the curve. I want to get to 250 before I turn 50 next year and thanks to IF I know I can do it. I got this shit down to a science. Anyone still on the fence should give it a shot for 2 weeks.

It depends...

I've switched mine up numerous times based on the schedule I worked.

When I was working nights, I didn't have my first meal until 4p. Knowing I was working until 4a or later, eating my last snack/meal around midnight was crucial to getting me thru the night and performing at a high level.

Now that I'm on the standard 9 to 5, I usually eat my first meal at 1p... that way I can get home, get a workout in, and still have the ability to eat either before or after my workout (carb up on heavy lifting days before, protein shake after).

You gotta do what works best for you...

If breakfast is a must for you, then figure out what's the latest you can go without eating breakfast and then start your window there. My window is 11a-6p because by 11 its a must I eat. I also throw in 24 hours at times or will do OMAD ( one meal a day). But your intake of water is a must.

Another thing I do that some consider breaking a fast but I believe in the under 50 calorie rule, I have a cup of coffee with monkfruit (sweetener) daily.

Good luck. IF has been the easiest thing for me and I absolutely love it.

I'm basically running omad now... I don't even think of food that often and when I do I'll just get a big glass of cold water to cancel that thought... don't get me wrong I do have my cravings where I just absolutely have to have something... but even still if that something can't be had within that 6-8hr window that I eat I'll just go without it...

And the 50 calorie rule I never heard of that... I was always of the belief that anything that triggers an insulin reaction breaks a fast... even those zero calorie drinks like monster/bang, coffee, apple cider vinegar w/lemon... I kinda shy away from all of that when I'm focused on IF

Now I'm thinking I may still run with the water and 2tbsp apple cider vinegar to start my day... maybe it's all in my head, maybe it's fact... but I feel that when that was incorporated into my diet and exercise my 6 pack was poppin... I mean V tapered at the waist, 6 pack seen thru shirt poppin...

Which monk fruit are you using? Generally, monkfruit doesn’t have any calories and doesn’t cause an insulin spike. So a cup coffee( if black)and monk shouldn’t break a fast.

I believe it’s anything over 10 cals
Coffee/green tea at 8oz are 5 cals and less

I can't remember where I saw the 50 calorie rule but I've seen it a lot and it's worked for me. I can't do just black coffee, but I'm good on green tea and I don't do anything other than a soda from time to time during my window.

I went this whole week without eating anything after 6pm. Fruit and oatmeal for breakfast, large salad with grilled chicken for lunch and I'm good for the day. Doing much more cardio in the gym and the abs are starting to form. Jump rope between sets is a good way to get some cardio in.

If I could incorporate exercise I would be so much farther alone but I hate the gym and walking around the neighborhood I don't want to do either. I just hate exercising now for some reason but I need to.

You need someone to push you. Try going with a friend Or go when it's empty so you can motivate yourself and not get distracted. You can also get a treadmill or bike if you don't want to leave the house. There's a lot of options.

And that's the thing I have so many options but no motivation. I do well with IF, lost a total of 20lbs so far, but this year on everything else has been horrible for me, but I shall prevail.

What are you trying to accomplish? What is your goal other than losing weight? Do you want to look a certain way? Wear certain clothes? Firm/tone up?

My original goal was to lose weight for my daughter's wedding which I successfully did and looked great, but now I want to maintain and tone up and not gain in my midsection. At 51 I don't care about having a HS body because I was 120lbs, I'll look like a crackhead now. Fortunately for me I'm still shapely and I want to at least keep that.

ive been on it since February and went from 6’2 235 to a lowest of 193, I stayed between 193 and 198 for months but recently started doing a 12/12 and up to 204 now. When I was doing 16/8 I would eat a meal at 2pm, a snack at 6pm, a meal at 8pm and a snack at 10pm. My meals always included meats and vegenables and snack would be apples/strawberries and peanut butter, I’m also a workout head going to the gym 4-5 days a week, I went down to 193 doing that. for some reason I decided to cut out the snacks and just eat the two meals, that was a mistake because within a week I found myself eating a snack at 1:30am with the snack being chips and M&M’s, so now I’ve been eating meal at 2pm, meal at 8pm and snack at 1:30am. I’ve been saying I’m going back to the 16/8 because I don’t like eating the 1:30am snack but haven’t been able to stop.

Dudes in the gym always ask if I box, it used to confuse me I’d be wondering why people kept asking, then one day I guy said he asked because I jumped rope like a boxer..lmaooo. Jumping rope is really good cardio

Skipping breakfast was hard at first especially since I dove in and started with 16/8. I recommend 12/12 until you can kick your cravings. My hunger buster is hibiscus tea and stevia. I will have to try the monk fruit.

Hey you can do it

And get that tight high school body especially if you had it at one time muscles have tbe memory of an elephant and can be reborn..
.
.first you have to be willing to make real food a major part of your life..

Greens greens and more green. Fruit.

M
Smoothies grains..

Your plates of food should be 90 percent greenery...

I got me a bamboo steamer and let me tell you big difference in taste and texture..

I steam a lot of kale with peppers and onions.. Then I lightly sautee in toasted sesame oil..
I do a lot of yams as well

I sweeten it a lol with maple syrup and real cinnamon not that fake shit.

Not only will you have an abundance of energy your whole out look on life will seem bright as fuck..

And the key for that tight body

Pull ups cardio pull ups...

Squats...and some pull ups...

At first you may just be able to do a half..great keep going..

Do as many half of pullups as you can

I fuckin guarantee is six months you will see yourself transform into a whole new person

Also important is to go to a nutrionist and find out what minerals and vits your body is lackin

And rectify it

All it takes it a will to want it and focus to see it through
.uncle

Mrfreddygoodbud

Believes in all you muthafuckas

Dont let me down
