That's not a smart observation right there. He was sucker punched because he wasn't expecting it. He clearly pushed him like bro back up; not to fight. He clearly looks away after he pushed him. He clearly didn't expect to be hit like that. Green is a bitch for that and bitch made for that reaction. I hope he's fined heavily...
I agree. Poole didn't expect to get punched, but that doesn't meet the definition of sucker punch in my opinion. To me a sucker punch is when someone gets completely snuck or gets punched by someone acting as if everything is cool to get close enough to punch the other person.
Will sucker punched (slapped) Chris at the Oscars because seconds before walking on stage, Will was laughing at the joke Chris made about Jada. Therefore, I can understand why Chris didn't think Will was coming on stage to hit him. Had Will yelled, "Keep my wife's name out of your fucking mouth!" prior to walking on stage and hitting Chris, it wouldn't have been a sucker punch (slap).
Once Green approached Poole in an aggressive manner, Poole should have been on high alert. That no way excuses Green, and Green was definitely wrong. However, I don't feel it meets the definition of a "sucker punch".

Poole was an easy target. Granted, Poole may have been talking big boi shit, but ultimately, Dray knew Poole couldn’t whoop his ass. And that’s just based on the weight and strength difference.

Just them mouthing off to each other you gotta instantly put yourself in battle mode and expect it to go there, and then he walked over to him and got in his face, Poole should've swung on him then instead of a push, but that's just me.
Realistically speaking Draymond can fix himself. This will be his 12th year in the league, and if this is the first time he punched a teammate it can be considered an isolated incident.
But what matters is if the teammates and organization can get over it, that's the real question and we'll see how that plays out.

thats two DIFFERENT teams in the heat of a GAME and no one even tried to throw a punch... so why would a team MATE expect that to happen in PRACTICE...in PRESEASON...gearing up for another championship run.
